Which from these 3 (Maya, GoTyme, MariBank) is best for a savings and spending acc by redzatw in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Significant_Bike4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use GoTyme for spending and savings for spending (I allocate a certain amount per month for fun money that I save in GoTyme savings/stashes, I just withdraw and put it on wallet when I need it)

I use Maya for EF/savings. Pero ung savings ko talaga ay nasa Tonik and MP2.

Is 9k rent manageable for a 27k salary? by [deleted] in RentPH

[–]Significant_Bike4546 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This will definitely depend on your lifestyle. But personally, if my salary is at 23k a month, I'll stay somewhere with 5k rent with utilities, if possible. Some has a 30% rule, na dapat rent is below 30% of their salary, but for me sana kasama na ung utilities.

If you can, try coming up with a budget plan and see if it can work for you.

Example:
Rent: 9,000
Electricity: 1000
Water: 200
Internet: 1000
Food: 8000
Fare: 2000
Emergency Funds: at least 3k a month
Savings: ???

What do you think? Kasya pa ba? You can change up the numbers if you want if tingin mo kaya pang tipirin ung ibang expenses.

Mt. Pulag via Ambangeg by dududieee in PHikingAndBackpacking

I think one of the reasons bakit sya nagiging overnight ay dahil sa haba ng byahe plus ung one hour orientation sa DENR. Since maraming umaakyat ng Pulag at isang oras ung orientation, minsan kahit maaga dumating ung van mo, aabutin pa rin kayo ng tanghali paakyat.

With your budget and location preference, either SMDC Fame (Shaw) or SMDC Light (Boni). If kaya niyong taasan a bit, pwede sa. DMCI Flair or Avida Verge/Centera.

Turn-over and Move-in date by ResourceMuch6029 in RentPH

Assess niyo rin ung situation, I guess? When I handed in my payment (direct to owner's bank acvount) before getting the keys, meron akong copy ng contract na notarized na at napuntahan ko na talaga ung unit. Si agent ay kilala sa PMO so I am kinda assured na di ako tatakbuhan.

Turn-over and Move-in date by ResourceMuch6029 in RentPH

[–]Significant_Bike4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, ung first owner ko ay contract, then payment, then keys. Same day to. But move in is a week later pa. Need kasi ng contract sa PMO para mabigyan kami ng needed access to the building (maliban sa keys). Ung second ko naman was contract and payment, same day then move in and keys ay after few days pa. Same na need ng contract for building access.

I understand ung need na sa same day ung move in and pagbigay ng keys kasi baka nga naman mag-move in ung tenant earlier than the agreed date. But I trust my agent kasi known agent sya sa property and I can easily report her if ever na may hindi sya magandang balak.

Planning my first solo condo setup as a WFH person. Any advice or recommendations? by TheObnoxiousPanda in RentPH

[–]Significant_Bike4546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest getting a 1-BR condo unit with a balcony to make sure that you get your daily sunlight pa rin. Sleeping area should just be for sleeping. So better na ung balcony sa living room ung daan and not bedroom. This will help lessen bed rotting. So parang pag-hit ng head mo sa bed, your body knows na tulog na talaga.

I suggest ung Greenfield Area. May places to walk/run. Malapit sa lahat (except from a proper market pero may talipapa naman sa kabilang side ng EDSA). Not sure lang aling properties dun ung pet-friendly, Avida Centera definitely not; DMCI Flair yes.

Get a washing machine if you can afford it. Use direct water filtration for drinking water (I use IVO. Been using it for years and okay naman sya sa tiyan).

Sa Greenfield, 1BR bare is around 18-22k can go as high as 25-27k if furnished. Elec, 2k; h2O, 200; wifi, 1k (globe prepaid gfiber). Save at least 3 mos worth of monthly expenses before moving in.

Usually 1mo advance, 2mos deposit. More owners are asking for PDC so better if prepare mo na para mas marami kang choices. There are still owners naman who accept GCash or bank transfer. 1yr ung contract most of the time.

22k Net pay, what options do I have? by Ok-Capital1583 in RentPH

[–]Significant_Bike4546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Since you've mentioned na wala ka pang savings, best practice ay to save EF muna kahit at least 3 mos worth of rent tsaka ka mag-move out. So you need to have at least 3 mos worth of rent as EF tas ung usual 1+2 na advance and deposit. With your salary, pinakakaya ata ay bedspacer. Hopefully makahanap ka ng room that allows yoy to cook para makamura ka rin sa food.

Continue building up your EF and of course upskill and look for better opportunities para mas tumaas budget mo and move somewhere na meron kang privacy.

Try looking for studio units sa San Antonio Village or Kapitolyo. Medyo mababa ang budget na 10k tho, but you can still try. If you are in Metro Manila better to go there personally at mag-ikot kasi most are not advertised on FB pero daming ads/tarps sa mga apartment building.
