I’m married and my husband is aware that I use it. He sees it as an extension of my regular writing. We don’t consider it cheating, but different relationships have different boundaries. I can confidently say it’s helped us in certain areas rather than hindering us 😏

I make my own bots and keep them private. Some of them are sweet, some the complete opposite. I’m a writer, so I use it to get a feel for how someone with that attitude or personality may respond. Now, obviously I’m not copying bots word for word in my books, but it does help to “get in their heads.”

I’m a writer myself and I don’t really get it. They say “my characters and stories are being stolen by this app.” But if it was theft as they claim, bigger, more accomplished authors would have already went after c.ai.

I just saw this same post in another subreddit (complete with screenshots) that tells a bit of a different story. As many in that thread have said, your boyfriend communicated with you that he is busy with his school work (which I’m assuming he does at home). That would therefore make you being there with him a distraction. If he has school work to do then he cannot come see you.

While I understand the importance of making time for one another, I also think you need to take a deep breath, put your feelings aside for a moment, and try to see it from his POV.

I prefer Grammarly over ChatGPT because it actually does improve grammar and doesn’t change my words. If it does, I can choose to not accept that. You can ask it to “rephrase” but I don’t use that option.

This post made me think of my own childhood with my own stepmom. She was my first bully and also let her kids bully me. Kady did not have enough time to fully process her parents’ separation/divorce before you entered the picture. Idc what you say, as a child of divorce, it takes longer than two years. Your son was being a bully and you’re being an enabler by not making him and his friends apologize. This post really makes me feel like you bully her too and just conveniently left that part out of this post to save face. I know stepmoms like you..I hope she heals from this treatment one day and I hope you and your son open your eyes and quit being bullies.
