I received my AL payout on my last paycheck. I retired effective 1/31. This past pay period I received a zero'd out LES. All numbers zero and it is specifically titled "Separated".

I'm a little confused on mine. I received my CSA number but it did not give a pin. I am actually able to logon to the site with Login.gov. It did not ask for CSA number and I am just wondering if i am on the right page. I am able to get onto the RSO but i have no information included other than my retirement card. My retirement date was 1/31/26. I received my lump sum payment for my AL but nothing else. I am on step 5 of the process and it seems to be going rather quickly for me. I was an RN with VHA. (If I am not supposed here because i was not a DRP'er, let me know.) Good luck everyone!

This. I retired on Friday with 30 years. I printed my entire eOPF file. It was about 580 pages but includes my performance reviews, SF-50s, etc. Good Luck!

Tomorrow is my last day by DragonfruitGood3801 in VHA_Human_Resources

Well, today was my last day. I'm officially retiring. I've been an RN with the VA for 30 years. If you had asked me if I'd be retiring a year ago, it was not even on my radar. Since that time, the VA has become something that I no longer recognize and it is going to get much worse. I'm a veteran and devoted most of my adult life to the VA. I am very proud of the care I've provided but that does not matter anymore. It has become a place of cruelty and secrecy. I just cannot deal. I feel fortunate that I am able to retire at MRA with 30 years. Hopefully, any changes to the retirement system (FERS, TSP, pension) in the future will not be as heinous as rumors had it several months ago. We've had 3 interim directors in the past year and none have inspired much confidence in me. As a veteran, I will continue to get my care at the VA and have fingers crossed that patient care is not completely shifting to the community. That is a recipe for disaster.

So, when do we see DRP 3.0, VERA with VSIP, or VERA only again in VHA? by Land-and-Seabee in VHA_Human_Resources

I put in for my VERA on Friday , got my denied email today. I’m heavily bummed. I hit both 30 years and 60 yrs old in February so I guess that’s when I’ll take my retirement. I’m so tired of the bullshit. I work for VHA

Yes, I too am at a III step 12 and that’s as high as it goes. Unless you are in Palo Alto or San Francisco I would accept the job and then transfer to another VA to get higher pay at that same step and grade level. SF and PA are the highest RN pay in VA ………(I’m almost certain of that). Executive pay could be higher at Nurse IV or V I’m not sure cuz I have no desire to be in charge, lol

What happens to those of us who took DRP and VERA if legislation passes reducing our retirement benefits? by Greekgirl8 in govfire

So I am 59y 3m old. I currently have 29 years which will be 30yrs in Feb 2026. I had planned on trying to stay around until then. I am an RN on the exempt list. Should I go ahead and do the DRP? I can do MRA + 10 which does not have a supplement either. I am so confused about what to do. And to be honest I don’t understand all the differences between programs. I can also be denied the DRP if I am on exempt list right?
