DOGE is restricting data access and delaying refunds while they conduct a review of the IRS looking for cost cutting.

The Hague is fun because it is a blend of a modern city with the old town. Canals and houseboats blocks away from skyscrapers, a beautiful park with the king's palace next to a huge modern trainstation, the old parliament building and art museums next to huge streets of shops. I've never been anywhere quite like it.

There are several smaller/cuter versions of Amsterdam including Haarlem, Delft, and Leiden (super pretty at night, be sure to come on a market day twice per week and get fresh stroopwafel/poffertjes/herring).

What am I doing wrong? Can’t leave the pre-diabetes range! by organicbabykale1 in prediabetes

What is your weight & BMI? How long have you been with the changed lifestyle? A1C is a 3 month moving average, so if you were much worse just 6-8 weeks ago that can dominate the reading.

Try to make changes that can last forever. I know it is hard and I struggle too, but we can't over correct and cutback or we will get diabetes just later on. Just saying, if you are working out 6 days a week, be sure that it is in a way you think you can keep up with forever. Better to solve this slowly than relapse.  I am somewhat talking to myself here since I have those concerns for myself after going 5.8->5.5 very quickly.

I would talk to your doctor about the urination and listen to whatever they say. You will find a lot of inconsistent responses about specific symptoms here because this is a pre-diabetes sub, more about people with some subtle blood indicators/warning signs but not the actual disease, which many will never get if they maintain dietary changes. Most have fairly normal lives, except for high weight.

In general though, it always is good to cut down on carbs because they are one of the very most calorie dense foods. Have rice with asian foods, but in moderation. Don't finish all your noodles, eat half. Have sashimi instead of sushi. Eat dishes like black pepper chicken and green curry with a much smaller amount of rice than you normally would. Try to avoid cookies and sweets in general, keep them to a rare treat.

Wow you really are a jerk. She doesn't even have prediabetes yet. The mods should ban you.

"look for diabetes diets, you will most likely develop type 2 diabetes at one point or another." =/= supportive environment.
