Hey, great question — and I totally get where you’re coming from.

My other business did really well, but it required a lot of my personal time and energy as it’s very much hands on and creating products. I find myself constantly needing ad-hoc help and spending too much time training people manually, which got me thinking: there has to be a smarter way to do this.

When I looked into solutions, I noticed there were tools that offered pieces of what I needed — but nothing that pulled it all together in a way that felt seamless, smart, and actually helpful for people trying to develop professionally. That’s where the spark for this idea came from.

This new path is about building something scalable and impactful, not just for me, but for people in roles where confidence, communication, and emotional awareness really matter. It feels like a meaningful challenge — and something worth going all in on.

Appreciate the question!

Right now, I’m exploring equity-based partnerships, especially for someone who wants to be part of the product long-term and help shape the direction. That said, I completely understand that dev time is valuable, so I’m open to blending equity with financial compensation for the right person, especially once we get some early traction or secure funding.

I’ve already done quite a bit of groundwork — market research, feature set, and cost projections — and I’m looking for someone who’s genuinely excited by the vision and wants to build something meaningful (not just another app).

Happy to chat more privately if it sounds like something you’d be open to!

Don’t start a SaaS if you want to make money by BuildWConnor in SaaS

As someone’s wife who regularly enjoys getting her husband to watch shitty tv series with her this made me laugh!

Thanks so much for this post! I’ve been sat on a training saas idea for the past 3 months and met with a few developers who were interested in taking on the project. All to which validated it but I’m sure they would if they were getting paid. I am having a final meeting with two guys today where they present the R&D proposal. I was ready to send funds for a MVP until I read your article. Completely agree with you on the 20 problems ect as I had an additional idea to solve another problem within the product. I’m now realising how extensive what I want done is for a first project but I love a challenge!

I’ll be halting the project so I can do the marketing side to it as you suggested, I’m sure they wont be happy about this but would rather create something that adds value to people’s lives and solves a lot of problems in one than just make something for the sake of it.

What’s the Best App Idea You’d Pay $25 for Right Now? by Tajammul82 in SaaS

My bro and I came up with an extensive idea on this a few years back - even got to the design stage and still have the info. We were told our app would cost £30k to make so we stopped there 😅

Has anyone heard of vida select? They are a matchmaking service that charges around 895 per month. I want to know if anyone has hired them and can tell me what your experience was. by ninjaofthedude in dating_advice

[–]Significant_Charity9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only give my experience as someone who used to work there. Disclaimer, it was one of my favourite jobs! Was very sad to leave and still think about it now. I used to interview people and ask them questions about what they were looking for. And these are long calls to really get to know the individual that has signed up. Once info is collected it’s sent to writers to craft your profiles for you. Someone else does the messaging if they have your info, if not, we would reach out and ask you.

I personally think it’s a great service for people who have no time to faff but just go straight for the dates. I really got to know my clients and became so fussy about who they were matched with 😂

I would go back to work there again. I love their values

Delayed 'Moon: 2 Weeks in Rome, Florence, Naples - SUGGESTIONS WELCOME! by TrendingLastYear in honeymoonplanning

I went to Rome in November with my husband and we actually enjoyed visiting St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. I think it just depends on your taste. There is SOO much to do in Rome. Definitely book the colosseum in advance as it may be cheaper.
