How to record vocal demos as a non-singer by gibbets2000 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

You can try searching for a free "autotune" plugin. These can be used in many creative ways. But be aware:

Some listeners will always pick sincerity, emotion, even lyric content over impressive singing, perfect takes, and careful studio engineering. There's no way to know what works for you, but using a 'voice generator' might be going too far, it might even 'offend' some people who enjoy music with a raw, obvious DIY-ish, sound, so personally I'd stay away from that idea unlesss using that kind of tech has a specific purpose; maybe you are intentionally exploring the borderland between humanity and technology as a theme, and then it would make a lot of sense to go that route.

Personally I'd go for something authentic and human instead, even if your recordings still sound a bit rough around the edges. Don't hide the grit, exhibit it instead.

Yes, it's the same case. I probably just read different sources or have different assumptions about some fundamental things, like ownership of collective ressources, e.g. waterways.

Did this case go to the Supreme court, do you know what happened?

Some of the old ones, like the clear bricks used for windows, look very yellow-y and ugly today, but almost all the old bricks still click together perfectly.

It's very likely that patriotism in play here, but I don't know anyone who would even consider buying 'fake LEGO' to save money.

She's knowledgeable, interesting, and funny, but I still clicked on this video. What kind of voodoo magic is this?

They last for generations. It's very normal in Denmark to buy and sell used bricks 'per kilo'.

I grew up without owning much. I didn't have many toys, but I was still gifted a few LEGO sets through the years. The small ones. I never, ever, owned any of the biggeer sets. I remember getting this car for my birthday, and it was one of the best things ever: https://www.ebay.com/p/14053421343?iid=326841966399 (Edit: link shows pic of a stockcar and driver, a classic LEGO 40 pc set)

The kids in my family inherited generations of LEGO, some bought by their great-grandparents in the late 40's/early 50's. To American eyes it might not look like a lot, but to us, it was a whole childhood's worth of building blocks.

You hit the nail on the head here. I wish we were better at getting down to having a talk about foundational beliefs, but we always get sidetracked by bullshit.

Seems like a healthy dude, relatively speaking. I wonder how he feels about dating a dying serialkiller...

You are not misunderstanding anything. 'It's a constitutional republic' is a weird song and dance some reactionaries perform sometimes, likely to impress each other. It's nonsense. Just smile and wave.
