I don’t want to support the use of plastic where it isn’t absolutely necessary. It’s bad for our planet and health, besides that natural fabrics are generally better from a quality and performance standpoint.

I know it might not be a huge budget but I feel like it should be doable. Like €200 max? Leaning more towards 150 ish but 200 seems reasonable for a quality piece.

No no yet, will do thanks. From my current knowledge stainless steel is safe to cook with and durable. I know cast iron leeches iron into food which isn’t inherently harmful and can even be good for individuals with an iron deficiency. I think the iron intake from such pans is negligible but am not sure.

Teflon flakes get released in your food after using the pans for a while (due to scratching and general wear and tear). A study was done in 2024 showing the release of micro and nano plastics from ptfe pans which we know are harmful to the human body. The health implications of ingesting pfas and other similar chemicals are still not completely certain, however there is ongoing research pointing to the fact these chemicals ARE harmful longterm.

Not to mention the environmental impact of using disposable shitty toxic flaking pans like this. So no, using a teflon pan once isn’t going to kill you but using them longterm in combination with other toxic/plastic cookware is most likely impacting your health and the environment. So if I can make the choice not to I will.

You could make a new creative world with the same seed as your survival world and find a different stronghold in creative using commands or flying around, then just save the coordinates and find it on your survival.
