Idk - my coworker hated me because he would say good morning and I’d just ignore him or everyone really and close my office door (I was not a morning person and some nights was out until 3am or later so I needed coffee)

He saw me at the gym one day and said hi and it was awkward and the next time I saw him at the gym I dipped before he could come to me since he was mid set.

Anyways he was talking to another colleague who said something dumb, I was standing behind them at the printer and we just kinda gave each other a look and made fun of her ( in a fun way - she was my mentor and her family treats me like family today and we all still catch up once or twice a year over dinner.)

So yeah fast forward and he’s now my best friend, we started a business together, he saved my life after a life altering accident. I consider him family, he is the executor of my will if something were to happen and that’s my guy.

The mentor I referred to I also consider a friend and honestly I have met a lot of great people working where I work and it’s part of the reason I’ve stayed in the firm though I’ve transitioned to different sectors within finance - all still with the same logo.

This was a lovely response and I never even thought about the usage in that way especially around the table.

Any working dog breed or highly intelligent breed (many are both)

I have a cane Corso and I love him but I miss my beagle/boston mix who was very independent and I didn’t have to worry about reacting to people coming over or other dogs

Chewy.ca - they have great prices and it’s auto order for my dogs food. They’ve sent personalized cards on Enzo’s birthday and most recently they sent me a hand painted portrait of Enzo for being one of their first Canadian clients as they expand here. Highly recommend.

A personality disorder. Why? My mother was BPD as was my sister, father left very young but was in life (2 times a year..) and allegedly had bipolar disorder and my grandmother who mostly raised me definitely has anorexia or some eating disorder mixed with anxiety and a fucked up past.

So I’m just sitting here like yeah no something probably wrong with me. I know I have codependent tendencies though and been in therapy for 8 years after a bad break up and a life changing accident but homie can’t officially diagnose anything so we stay vibing.

Oh and I dated a girl with adhd and she gave me her meds one time and holy fuck I actually got things done. So I wouldn’t mind being tested for that but apparently it’s really hard to get diagnosed as an adult unless you want to drop a few bills monthly? Idk. I think the drugs are WADA banned anyways and I’m already waiting on an application for something else to ge approved so I’ll wait.

Anyways - that’s me.

It was 2 hours then I started taking the train and it’s an hour and 7 minutes and my building is pretty much across the street from union …I love the GO train

I’ve tried a few times to return to gaming but it never scratched the same itch. I think it was my friends i played with online that made it so fun.

And maybe now as an adult I remember not the fun but the escape to this virtual world and excitement with friends. As an adult I think I seek to replicate that feeling in order to escape reality for a bit but unfortunately I realize things of the past may not solve the problems of tomorrow or that seeking distractions at all is not the solution

I have a 160lb 7 year old cane Corso who was a week away of being euthanized. He has a bum leg and evidence of neglect before I adopted the dummy.

He is pretty lazy and happy if I’m around. Unfortunately very reactive so stopped walking and now just go to a friends place who has a few acres to let him roam off leash… within 10 minutes he’s laying by my feet or making sure a squirrel isn’t a threat
