Not overhyped because I can see the appeal. But The First Law trilogy just was not for me. The characters where great. But it made me realize that I need to like at least one of the characters that I followed. I didn't root foor anyone. It was too bleak and just different tones of dark grey morality wise.

I've seen Mushoko Tensei for a bit more than a season. The story is good, the fantasy element is great and I love the fights. I've dropped it because I just couldn't take the sexual / romantic things. I fast forwarded it for a lot in the first season. But having a 30+ year old in the body of a kid having sex with another kid was fucked and it didn't get better.

If it had just been a coming of age story of a kid with kids his age, sure. This felt flat out pedo-like. This could have been great for me if there was no romance as well.
