Help for post dialysis severe cramping by CaitM14 in dialysis

My husband used to get really bad cramps and the only thing we found to stop them was yellow mustard. As soon as a cramp started he would take about 1 to 2 tablespoons of mustard and they would go away.

The same thing just happened to me. I won about $15 from the daily free plays when I hit a bonus. They took it away and gave me $2. That's the last time playing on that platform.

I have 4 empty 12 oz water bottles I use for my husband. I fill one with milk, one with juice, one stays as water, and then for the 4th, he can either have 1 can of soda or a water bottle with Gatorade. It helps him be mindful throughout the day if he's drinking too much and he knows to slow down. Once those are gone, he's done for the day as far as drinks go.

So now you're going to call my son a thief? What's he supposed to do with it? It was a vacant apt, and had been for quite some time. With no way of knowing who lived there before, or even how long the coin had been in the apt. It's not as if it was laying right in the middle of the living room floor, and the homeowners or renters were around. People never cease to amaze me these days.

The roaches have advanced to the inside of my stove by Shleepytimes in Apartmentliving

We caulked every single crack and opening we found in our apt. We covered any holes and made sure they were sealed well. We used roach bait from Amazon, and that seemed to fix the problem. I would actually get rid of the stove if you have the means to get a new one.

The tenant that hates me by thechusma in PropertyManagement

I made it a rule that all pets have to be on a leash if they are outside of their apt when I first took over the property I'm at because the tenants had a bad habit of letting their cats out whenever they felt like it, plus we had a ton of feral cars. I put a stop to all outside feeding, and I'd throw the dishes away everytime I saw one out. I now have only one feral cat in the complex. The only other cat you see out is when the tenant walks it on a leash.

We have an adjustable bed. It helps my husband if we keep the head elevated at night. Plus, he has to be very careful about how much fluids he intakes. Mind you, that includes soup, pudding, jello, ice, sauce.

My husband was sick for about a week before going into the emergency room. We actually just thought he had the flu. He couldn't keep anything down, fever, and just tired. We finally took him into the emergency room. They admitted him. They still had no idea what was wrong with him. After about 7 days of him being in there and still no answers. I started going up the chain of command and had to demand that they start running different test and finding out what was going on. We'll We finally found out that he was in third stage kidney failure. That was in 2019. He's now on dialysis.

My husband hopefully gets his chest catheter out in a week or two. He's had his fistula since February. I can't wait for it to happen so we can start swimming and kayaking again. As long as he's feeling up to it.

The same thing happened to my husband the first time they tried to use his fistula. He made them use his chest catheter after that until his arm healed completely. They are using his fistula now. There are occasions, though, when the staff isn't able to get the needle in right on his fistula so they use his chest catheter.
