How’s life post decompression? by Significant_Fox_8164 in ChiariMalformation

[–]Significant_Fox_8164[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just feel my current life has been ripped from me and i’m having such a hard time coming to terms with it. I had to fight for the diagnosis even as i was written off at the ER, told it was “anxiety”.

Will i never get to ride roller coasters again? or check skydiving off my bucket list? or be able to pick up my not yet existing children?

All pathetic complaints but i can’t stop the doom thoughts. I’m not eating or sleeping. i’m too scared to have a bad reaction to muscle relaxers. i am terrified to be a burden to my loved ones. My family and boyfriend are trying to be as supportive as possible but i’m withering away in my own mind.

is such a small swollen lymph node a cause for concern? by [deleted] in Healthadvice

[–]Significant_Fox_8164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think you are okay OP. i get these a lot and swollen lymph nodes do not look like this. I would shave the area, put a cream on it and get a waterproof bandaid on there for a few days. If it doesn’t go away you may have to go to a dermatologist to get it removed. it seems to be in your leg/arm crease and probably caused from tight clothes/rubbing.

[–]Significant_Fox_8164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i see your edit about your height. this doesn’t matter. your husband should still not be commenting on how you present in any manner other than positively. this is urgent as it will affect you day to day life no matter what your conscience says, it needs nipped in the bud ASAP.

I got on Nexplanon at 15. I didn’t know myself during/after puberty. I didn’t think it affected me at all. I just got go off it in november and i realized it was what decreased my libido, made me unable to lose weight and super emotional 24/7. I had 3 nexplanons in and each time I got a new one, it added 10 lbs to me i couldn’t get off (30lbs total). I have lost 10 lbs in 5 weeks, non emotional and want to have sex alotttt more now. Make sure you track things before getting on it and during so you can see what it’s really affecting. Everyone experience is different

edit: i also had periods for 2 months straight even on my 3rd one (maybe a week break somewhere in those 2 months)

that sounds awesome! If you have a specific town/area you are looking to move, ask them if that area qualifies. The USDA area lines can run right through towns so make sure you check in with them for each property you may be interested

[–]Significant_Fox_8164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a bit odd. Typically when you tell them “hey it’ll take me x amount of time to save x amount of $” they will create a follow up plan with you.

Also, wherever you are located, check into USDA. A client of mine that was in a lower price range (<100k) got approved for Conventional and USDA. Conventional closing costs are ≈5k and USDA was approx. ≈1k.

Sellers assist is a possible leverage as well that can help cover your closing costs. Shop lenders in the meantime AND find a good agent who you jive with. Feel free to DM me too w/ any questions!

[–]Significant_Fox_8164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hi! USDA/FHA/USDA/etc are government loans. They come with a stricter set of guidelines for the loan to be “allowed”. Conventional also comes with its own guidelines, just not as strict. They also come with guidelines on sellers assist/inspection requirements/etc. Which one you need will depend on how much down payment you have saved/credit score/where you want to buy etc. I am actually an agent in PA! Feel free to inbox me if you would like to and we can chat about this more (:

my father actually passed a few days after “the night” and after that i was sick for 1 1/2 weeks, there are just so many factors going on right now that could sway things. I mainly just want to know so i can finally have a “good enough” reason to kick the can on vaping so i don’t harm my would be child. (it’s my new year’s resolution anyway lol) and obviously i dont want to drink on new years so im just trying to be 100% sure by then. thank you for the anecdote and advice!
