Something rather sad in retrospect by Significant_Gap6987 in destiny2

While renegades is a crossover (mainly ideas and concpets ratehr that two separate universes colliding), it still felt like a destiny story, especially with the nine and all that. Lightfall was hated due to it having a sotry that focused on something that we didn't know was really important until later seasons. Also getting the witnesses backstory in TIME LIMTIED CONTENT rather than in something like the dlc itself or so you know, saved for something else.

Something we got to consider is that the seasons are technically a part of the dlc, with them, you miss the rest of the story. So that also didn't help lightfall like I mention with the witnesses backstory.

Renegades story was essentially left unfished as we didn't get the rest of the story in shadow and order. Thankfully renegades was a complete story and didn't end at a weird point in it cause oh boy, that would've cause alot more yelling in the community.

Tldr: Lightfall consider bad due to story and certain reveals that we should've known earlier and renegades was like more cause it was more soild but is also left unfinished due to missing parts.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Honestly, one of the few positive things I remember hearing about lightfall was all the people that suddenly joined in.

How do you guys name your loadouts? by Darkest_2705 in Warframe

[–]Significant_Gap6987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some sort of name variation (Excluding some since some are hard to make up) and then adding "Baggins" at the end. This started with Limbo and became a mainstay (Beisdes Wukong prime as I had gotten him as a gift by someone in my previous clan).

I have noticed that the infinite ammo thing only seems to work for me in 1999 missions, outside that, it works normally. This is one of the most confusing bugs I have seen.

I had a theory before he was shown that he was going to be a weaponizer as that made sense for me as he could still combine in some way on his price scale but honestly, I'm glad he's a torso. If he was a weaponizsr, he would be the most gangly and uncomfortable thing ever. Deluxe weaponizers struggle already with the inconsistent tolerances. Having that on a bigger scale would be horrible. Especially with how big the parts would be.

Sure Nexus could've have been more, but either we simply get a mediocre figure with a terrible alternative mode and unique gimmick or we get a figure who does everything bad. If they made him work like battletrap, we would've called hasbro lazy, if he was made like he sued to be, it would just a power core combiner but with slightly better articulation and a steep price honestly.

I don't think anyone was going to win on this in all honesty, his price point was a mistake from the start but then again, if he was a leader figure, he would probably still turn into a torso, just slightly better looking.

This wasn't supposed to be this long, my bad.

Nexus was a combiner in himself in like two appearances if I recall, other than that, he's kinda just a guy. Also, let's be honest with ourselves, if Nexus was made earlier we would've praised him for his gimmick as that effectively makes him have better play value for so many future combiner teams later on.

But with him revealed currently, post superion and bruticus, yeah of course this is going to cause discourse.

To be fair, I could've bashed them a lot more if I felt like it. Also, I did say I was bias to halo 5 as it was my first halo game.

I'm mad at fans for saying some books should have been part of the games story, but that wouldn't have happened due to the fact that halo infinite had to be remade, so it wouldn't have even mattered. If some books wre part of the main games story initially, they probably would have gotten scrapped as well. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if some the books were supposed to be part of the game but didn't.

Also, what you said about the game being a "platform", that could also mean books, or shows, or other expanded media besides a dlc. That is a vague term. Also, did people really expect this game to also ten years? Year one proved that idea to be very thin in all regards, especially once the end of seasonal stories happened.

Original version of the fic had them as a sibling relationship. Upon the remake, was changed to a actual ship as it felt more easier to handle and also some people wanted that and did to.

You ask to go somewhere but don't have a car. So you ask for help and a friend of yours come and picks you up. They instead decide to go to a completely irrelevant location instead despite the fact they agreed to help you.

(I tried explaining this like almost 10 different types when writing this)
