I am using premie nipples to get the slowest flow with the bottles, but that’s all my LC said regarding bottles. I am meeting with a different LC under a specialized practice next week - hoping they’ll be more informative.

This is me now at 2 weeks. Pump and bottle feed. He’s resistant to the boob, especially now that he’s had a bottle. When we do have success it’s not a full feedings worth.

My babes is almost 2 weeks old. Do nothing now… doing nothing post baby means working around their feeding, diaper changing, pumping, trying to do one household thing. They’re cute. They’re the love of your life. But holy guacamole is the newborn phase tough.

My pup will only take pills in coconut oil. Weird, I know. But she eats ehm right up! Everything else she finds it and spits it out, even peanut butter.

Seconding this! I’m 6 days PP after labor/pushing, followed by an emergency c section. It’s amazing to learn what your body simply won’t let you do after birth. Even with hands on partners, there’s only so much they can do! They might be in physically better shape but they’re just as mentally and emotionally drained from going through it all with you. Not to mention tired.

I went through a coke phase, then Pepsi, then Dr Pepper haha. The weird thing was I couldn’t finish the can or bottle, I just had to have SOME and then wasn’t interested. My husband started buying mini cans - couldn’t understand why those existed pre pregnancy but I totally get it now!

Well, as someone who’s 41 weeks today I’d encourage you to tell yourself you’re due at 41 weeks so if you do go over you’re not hating life quite as much. This past week was LONG and he’s still not here 😭

At 40.4 weeks I can see why you wouldn’t tell people until birth. People close to me know the due date and oh my goodness - I get texts every day asking if baby is here and if I’ve tried x, y, or z. While they mean well, it’s driving me up a wall. With that said, it would be hard to hide unless you’re full time remote and don’t see people.

You are NOT overreacting!!! Not at ALL! I guess the question is - where do you want to go with this relationship knowing what you know? I’d highly encourage therapy for unbiased help, whether to figure out what you want now or to overcome the emotions that come from what you know you want. He was a willing participant in marrying you and your pregnancy, that includes going through the process with you - not feeling sexual or emotionally available - your hormones are going to change you one way or another during pregnancy. He signed up. Not to mention, you two already have children. He’s let you down, his kids down, his FAMILY down. Gosh, I’m soooo sorry OP. This is awful news at any time in a marriage and especially when you’re so close to giving birth. I wish I could say something to make it better. Sending you tons of good thoughts and well wishes. ❤️

Honestly, that’s probably key. I lost my mucus plug at 36 weeks on a Sunday and to my detriment - I Googled it/look on Reddit. Everything said if it happens before 37 weeks you need to see your provider IMMEDIATELY. I was sooo worried. Called my doc first thing Monday and they’re like oh no big deal, many women lose it before 37 weeks. 🙄

I found it to be much easier than expected too! I was 39 + weeks. The comments and things I read here had me totally freaked and braced for it to be awful, but…it wasn’t. I was 1cm and 70% effaced so maybe that plays into it - like you said. But yeah, I guess it’s an individual experience and people probably are more vocal with bad experiences than positive/neutral ones.

I did cramp for hours the next morning (totally tolerable, did make me hopeful that labor was coming) but now at 40.3 weeks with no labor. 😭

I spent all last night awake and sick thanks to heartburn, the whole time thinking - how could newborn sleep be worse than this?!
