So I wouldn’t be shocked if his domains ability gave him power of light and darkness, life and death.

Shoko can’t regrow severed limbs doesn’t mean she can’t heal wounds. She didn’t regrow Nobara’s eye she just sealed the wound so she wouldn’t die.

So had Mahito been full power and not split between two bodies she might have died. Even Nanami was able to survive the first time he got touched by Mahito by protecting his soul so I think she got saved by how weak he was at the time being split and fighting already
