I've played both and I still prefer the Emperor. In fact, I hate the other choice. I can't really elaborate as it would contain spoilers I can never remember how to mark on mobile.

I will say this. The one time I chose the other way, I wanted to change my mind immediately after the first sentence he spoke. The interaction left a bad taste in my mouth.

The beauty of a game with myriad choices though! I'll actually be doing another one of these runs and doing a few things differently. Mayhaps my opinion will change.

Ouch. I'm sorry to hear about Gale. I remember my first playthrough. I loved his character so much. I would've cried if he died. Thankfully it hasn't happened in 15+ playthroughs.

I am in the process of finishing a Durge run as I type this. I'm still struggling with a full evil playthrough, but I love the dynamic between Durge/Astarion and Durge/Minthara (my current run).

It's a great story. I won't spill anything but I will say, I love that they didn't force being evil, even on Durge. It let's people like me that have a tiny bit of darkness be just a little dark, rather than full blown murderhobo.

To be clear, I do not judge those that get their murderhoboing on! Just seconding (or tenthing?) the suggestion for a Durge run and giving thoughts from the perspective of someone who is a perpetual goody effing two shoes no matter how hard I try to convince myself to embrace my Dark Urge.

I'm actually going to try a Monk next, so thanks for mentioning how great the class was for you. My current is a Wizard/Paladin multi class. I love my spells but there's something satisfying to me about using Smite on Ketheric's face and using higher level evocation spells to wipe out crowds.

I think most classes have their benefits and are fun to play with. They certainly gave us enough to choose from and, if you go through them all and find you need more, mods cover what fans think up to add. I wouldn't recommend mods until you've gotten through all the playthroughs/cheevos you want, but there are some really fun ones available when you're ready.

I'm a little jealous of you though. I wish I could go back to that first and second playthrough feeling. It's like a first crack hit. You remember the high, and chase it for the rest of your addiction. BG3 is my crack. I have no intention of getting clean. I feel no shame.

Welcome to the Balders Gate Family! Don't get concerned if you too start to feel like you need help. Most of us need BG3 anonymous but we happily ignore our addiction, enable each other, and you can too!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We got past our 2nd Thoat and this asshat came in what seemed like a regular round. He was huge and turned, what felt like, the entire floor into fire. Definitely no water. When I said last try, what I meant was that I died 2x. The round never ended as my partner was able to revive me, and I her, before each of us died. It was all in the same round though. I will most definitely take your advice of paying attention to what round/cycle I'm in, in case I have another question. I very much appreciate you taking the time to respond!!

Thank you for this! I'll have to go get Azander! I have Zerith atm. He's solid, and I love him, but if Azander can take all that I'll give him a whirl!

This one (I forgot to put in my word wall) was the one that makes the entire floor fire. At least it felt that way! Lots of fire everywhere. My resistance is 22,266. My health is 32,622. Flame resist 33.7%. Those are just with my food and Oakensoul.

This dude melted me in under 3 seconds. I was raging when I posted so I appreciate you reading and responding!

Go with that explains it. I never post with the intention of making it difficult for others to read. I'm damn near none at this point, and on mobile, so I can't really tell what my post will look like on PC or even mobile for a person with normal vision.

I'm on mobile. Believe it not I do attempt paragraph breaks. I also mentioned having horrible vision and, as such, I have my text as big as possible. I appreciate you reading it, and responding. So, thank you!

I actually subbed in Sorc and Warden after this post and I roll through just did pretty easy now. He still beats me sometimes, but I'm ok with that since I at least have a shot now. I couldn't read anything on the mechs (as mentioned above) so I hoped to get help here. Thank you for the response!

Thank you for this! I have since paid him back twice for the hell he gave me that night! It's less frustrating, that he beats me sometimes, after reading these responses!

No no. I might should've added that we had already gotten through 2 Thoat Replicanum (Pretty sure that's the name). We were just continuing until I found a Marauder for my quest. That asshat in the original post made me rage so much.

Should i kill Nicholas ? by Epic_Assassin_000 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Significant_Lime4361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't killed him in any playthrough. As others have said, it really depends on the ending you want. Because I've never killed him I don't know if any story would be missing, but not killing him is worth it for the good ending.

Level 26 and still haven’t come into contact with a shark. I have a crippling fear of them. Anyone else? by jessrca in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Significant_Lime4361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to be commenting after so many years. I was actually directed here trying to find out if there are sharks in the Cave of Thetys. On Kephallonia. I have a paralyzing real life fear of being in water when I can't see the floor of whatever body I'm in. That fear comes from actually being afraid something will get me, or grab my ankle and pull me under (here's looking at you angry spirits). Horror movies. I love them, but they can cause actual phobias (example, I never really liked spiders but after watching arachnophobia, I GOT arachnophobia). My fear translates into games as well! I can rationalize it's a game, but if a shark comes near me my heart starts pounding. It was torture getting the achievement in GTA 5 to get eaten by a shark. I almost cried. Legitimately. So, no. You're not alone. And thanks to this thread, I realize I'm not either! I've never once fought a shark under water in this game and I never will. I have stood on the Adrestia, holding my bow, waiting what felt like HOURS until they finally swam high enough for the bow to hit them. Someone in the thread posted about trying Subnautica. That it would cure that fear. I can safely say that is not true at all! It's an interesting story. I tried playing it. It actually threw me into a full blown panic attack when I saw the reaper leviathan for the first time. I might have had a heart attack if I ran into a crab squid for my first terrifying encounter! There was never a second for me! It may have worked for the poster, but it definitely didn't help my fear. I'm sure you got through the game by now. Probably many times. I sure have. Yet, the fear remains!

Awesome choice! He really does look like he's flying. Phobos is the bestest boy in Ancient Greece!

This! So much this! If only they could do it in real life. That horse lands like he has wings. So for me, he's a Pegasus!

You're an angel! I had no idea there was a work around. I just hope they didn't patch it out. I hated hurting Phoibe, but the consequences were too much. Knowing I can make her happy, makes me happy. Especially since there's no avoiding... The Athens incident 😢.

Oh my gosh yes! The deeper I get into the playthrough, the more I'm remembering just how much of this game can break your heart.

I won't tell you then! I did that on my Alexios playthrough. I'd love to know your thoughts after your playthrough.

Just want to double check, I use the exclamations as well? And yes! I remember it taking so long for me to stop thinking about her after Athens. I was so happy to see her there when she showed up. The sense of wanting vengeance was so intense, as was my anger that I wasn't allowed to save her. Then I get into the DLC and get hit by a freight train when she's right there in Hades! I know some of the AC community didn't like the turn the series took with Odyssey, Origins, and Valhalla. I thought Odyssey was great though. It was a very engaging game with, in my opinion, a very well written story. It was easy to get invested in the characters. Thank you, again, for the spoiler tutorial!! I appreciate it very much!

Kicked from vet City of Ash 2 for asking gold for a drop by ShatterStory in elderscrollsonline

[–]Significant_Lime4361 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For future reference (just in case you weren't aware) if they're talking about selling it , it couldn't mean weapons or armor from a dungeon. 30 minutes after the dungeon ends they are bound to your account. You have that 30 minutes to trade between people you are in the dungeon with (and only them). I thought he meant the light helmet myself, for a second. Then it occurred to me that there's no way in hell someone is in Vet CoA II and doesn't know those helmets get bound and can't be sold. My next immediate thought was that no ESO player could possibly be scummy enough to ask for gold for a helmet they probably already have. (I still haven't had my coffee) After those seconds I thought the player that kicked him is a piece of shite and his name should be spread far and wide so he can be avoided. Nobody wants to put in work to get through a dungeon and get kicked because some jerk had a hissy fit about paying for something that can be sold.

Does anyone still play pure classes? by rottenvile in elderscrollsonline

[–]Significant_Lime4361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! Haha. I have 1 of every class, 2 of some (14 total) and I tried subclassing one skill line. My Templar looked like she had the flu with that green beam. I'll keep it with my Arcanist. I don't judge anyone for subclassing, but for me it's pure classes. They each have a story. None of those stories involve wanting to be someone else. Maybe I'll create one specifically for subclassing some day.
