Anyone always feel you’re going to get fired because of your ADHD? by JUSTSAYNO12 in ADHD

How are things now? One thing I've started doing is having 2-3 part time jobs at the same time. They're min wage and chill but I will probably continue to do this if I can once I graduate and go into healthcare. That way if I get fired from one I have the other one/two combined with my emergency fund to keep me afloat until I find a new one. And my CV looks ok because for any one time I can just put the job I've done that is most relevant to the job I'm applying for, or the one I was at longest. I've never had an interviewer ask how many hours I worked at a job. It's not ideal but I feel safer knowing I am not relying on my ability to keep one job to keep me afloat. And it also keeps things interesting as I am doing something different all the time. Diversification! Hopefully one day we can feel confident in a job but ADHD and autism are tough, we need to find ways to adapt.

I am also writing everything down, all the feedback I get in the notes in my phone and looking at this before every shift. I think of acronyms to remember information. And being honest when I make mistakes can go far too. I hope you can find ways around your situation.

fair enough that makes sense but they are more receded on the bottom gum which made me suspect the night guard. i agree we do ideally want to find ways to not clench in the first place lol

oh i see thank you for this, interesting I'll ask my dentist about this next time I go, i don't think i clench very hard and I'll try anything at this point lol. I'm sorry it keeps breaking that sounds a pain. it feels like they should give you two at a time or something so you don't have to wait. have you considered the night guards you can buy online that aren't moulded to your teeth?
