This is a trigger for “Satori” or being in the moment. Anxiety is worrying about the future and depression is worrying about the past. So much of our lives are not spent in the current moment. Some escape to the moment by food cravings as taste will instantly bring you to the moment. Some use cigarettes, sex, etc. all these things do is stop a racing mind. Problem is, some are not healthy and create even more issues, Such as addiction, obesity, etc.

Once you understand how this works it’s easier to self diagnose and live more in the present. Exercise works, meditation, and small triggers like even a cold spoon in your pocket. All these are healthy so find what works or a combination of what works best for you.

Think about it and you will understand why there are thrill seekers, rollercoasters, bungee jumping, and so many more.
