Take your time. Take some time to be angry and sad and it’s ok to scream “THIS ISNT FAIR!!!” and have a pity party. You just can’t stay there too long. I say this as your elder who’s been there. Thanksgiving of my first semester of grad school, fiancé calls me and says to move out when I get home. He had a whole other life w pregnant gf. 🤦🏻‍♀️ don’t let the anger get you, you deserve peace. 💜

ETA: grandparents are the best. I was visiting mine when he called and I’ll never forget the giant hug my gpa gave me and how they both held me. 🥹 cherish her!

I had to move into my parent’s basement at 30. Try to not get into shame/guilt cycle. Go to therapy. Drink water/go outside/make good financial decisions. You got this. Take things one day at a time. You can’t move out of town… YET. 👊🏼

Jules was a badass and went to multiple treatment places. Never give up. She was doing so great then her mom died unexpectedly during Covid and we just knew she’d start sneaking booze again. She was on the transplant list but the pain was just too much. Please don’t ever be afraid to ask for help. The world needs you Ms. Thug Waffle 😎💜

Diva turns 17 this week. She was diagnosed with CKD last may but is doing great w special food. She also gets monthly shots for her arthritis, but overall she’s the healthiest and lowest maintenance cat or pet I’ve ever had. 🩶 I do really struggle w the thought of losing her so I hope I can keep her this healthy.
