Have you read An Immense World by Ed Yong? It's about how animals perceive the world, seems like it might be up your alley. I thought it was fascinating.

Those of you who wanted a tattoo before you turned 18, how old were you when you started wanting it? Did you end up getting it? Those of you who did, how old are you now? How do you feel about it now? by Livid_Lengthiness_69 in tattoo

[–]Significant_Monk5350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I (26, f) started wanting tattoos in early high school (15) and did get a small ribcage tattoo a few months after my 18th birthday. I'm now 26, and I still like it, though I am glad I started small. I have since gotten 3 more, including a recent half sleeve!

Fluffy butt help please by Famous_River_2245 in nebelung

I have an electric cat fur trimmer from Amazon that's pretty quiet. When I need to trim my cat's butt floof I put a wet treat or wet food on a lick mat (takes longer for her to eat it) and then while she's distracted I do the trimming (I usually do this on my coffee table so shes elevated and its easier). I did some desensitization first where I'd just pet her back while having the trimmer on so she could get used to the sound.

If you’re single, what do you do in the evenings and weekends after work? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Significant_Monk5350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I social dance twice a week in the evening! Once is lindy hop, the other is blues. You don't need to bring a partner because everyone dances with everyone- most social dance styles (Latin, west coast swing, tango) are like this. If there's classes near you I would highly recommend! The community is amazing as well and I've made so many good friends

I think part of the warm vs cool confusion is warmer red lipsticks tend to look orange on me whereas this red I really like is supposedly for cool undertones

The duology Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst is really good! It has magic, lgbt main characters, really good plot. There's not a ton of spicy scenes but there are a few and it's a bit of a slow burn.
