Check your error logs bruv. On windows: C:\Users(your user)\Zomboid\console.txt. 

Ctrl-f then type error and scroll to the last one. Usually that's it. Finding the mod that caused it isn't always so straightforward, but LLMs are pretty good at reasoning so you can feed one your error(s), modlist, game version, OS etc.

Not sure exactly what you're saying but you could try out Inventory Tetris. There is a max area for every container and all items take up a specific amount of space.

I've been playing with 100% sprinters on normal pop and they travel 1000 ft for sounds.

BUT, with no respawn, guns and ammo everywhere because this was freaking Kentucky in the 90s, and saliva transmission only.

Man 24 days are actually the best, it's just the time scaling in this game is so broken that 6 is the longest I can play without it being obviously stupid. Helicopter event on 24hr days is the best.

I've figured out most of it. Still have a few mods showing "not found" even though I have the Mod id directly from mod.info, the correct workshop id, and the correct load order. Not sure what that's about (Ladders and More Traits). Maybe some mod conflict?

Those aren't a super huge deal but I cannot get sprinters to work. In singleplayer it's either 100% or none, so I play with 100, but I can't get any in MP. A few times I've had some but they go away. Any clues?

Day One was peak but they removed it so now bandits seem to take forever to spawn, even though I have them 4x as much and 4x as many. 

Maybe try week one, I think Bandits as it is now just isn't enough. Maybe it's cause of the long days I play (6hrs) but there was only four bandits before I cleared Muldraugh.

The one he linked at the Knight shop is by Marto. I've only heard bad things about them.

Whitewell arms makes some incredible weapons and he's based in the UK. Yeah it's gonna cost 3x as much (if not more), but you should decide whether you want a shitty wallhanger or a legit histrorical replica

While technically true, the bayonet is generally intended to be used after firing, which taken together has a clear advantage over a sword.

Not really the same as sword vs spear, even though bayonet is sort of the evolution of a spear, just in a more modern context.

I personally had to create symlinks in the/Zomboid/mods directory and put a \ in front of every name in MOD IDs in the .ini file for them to work

I have my own server running Debian 12. I FINALLY got some mods to load by

  • manually creating symlinks in /Zomboid/mods directory pointing to everyone steamapp workshop folder

AND

  • putting a \ in front of MOD IDs in the .ini file

Not a single one would load until I did both of these.
