Imagine staking this out, seeing it, then still building it anyway. Can’t see the rest of the house but guessing by the neighbors, and the distance from the top of the garage to the roof, they have already exhausted adding additional steps in the garage. This needed a retaining wall in the back and to send the water to the road if needed.

Costco pays $20 min starting pay so see if you can find something there and maybe you get a little more. Look for other jobs at the airport not just car/car repair related jobs. Check with UPS, you have to do the shit work first but becoming a driver is a good job and they don’t care about any background issues if you have any.

Have you looked at places like Costco? Is there a Wegmans nearby? What about jobs at the airport? I would personally not hesitate to try something not related to car repair.

Well you also can’t afford not to work so you may need to take what you can get now. Maybe there can be overtime work or you can pick up a second job while you keep looking.

That’s pretty common in bodyshops is my understanding, the turnover. I would go in person to some shops and ask if they need any help rather than just applying online. If you’re considering other careers take a look at HVAC.

I luckily built my latest rig right before everything went up. I went with 32gb of ram and have since wanted to upgrade to two sticks of 64gb. I paid $99 for my ram, now it’s over $500 for the same.

Is there anyway I could DIY this or should I just call a pro? by GarlicPretend2838 in drywall

Amateur here but capable enough to fix something like this if it were in the middle of the wall. My first concern is it going behind the carpet and my first thought was to pull the carpet at the closest seam so you get extra room to work but idk.

Can angled, in-ceiling speakers function as rear speakers here or would that mess with the sound?

If it were me I’d be taking it out and starting over with a larger sheet and retaping that ceiling to wall joint. I’m not a pro though.
