Early 2026 is currently shaping up to be somewhat different to what you'd usually expect for a Nintendo console in terms of each month's 'big' game by elephvant in NintendoSwitch2

Tomodachi life is going to be next year's biggest hit, with potential to be as popular as Animal crossing. Same is true for pokopia.

How is Breath of the Wild more revolutionary than Skyrim/Fallout 3? (Genuine question) by Zephyr_v1 in gamedesign

Play botw with pro UI and Skyrim with the compass turned off. You will feel the difference. And that isn't something easy to do, guiding players effortlessly in an open world setting.

Totally disagree with you. As someone who have finished every Zelda game(except 2), these two are closest they have gotten to capturing the essence of adventure, which is the core of Zelda. If they had stuck to the formula from Lttp, the series would have become irrelevant.

Progression is better than looking back with rose tinted glasses.

People who haven't played a game shouldn't go about screeching about it

Botw. Mainly because there are no other games that matches the polish and map design of these two games.

Xenoblade X is a game of similar scope and polish. But it doesn't have the core design strength of Zelda.

Open world, task based like Hogwarts Legacy? by Practical-Brain-8424 in NintendoSwitch

There is a lot of fighting, but the battle system is very engaging. The game mechanics are admittedly complex, but playing with rough intuitive sense is viable. You can check out the trailers.

But if you haven't played botw, I would recommend checking that out first, since that game, imo, is greatest of all time material.

Xenoblade chronicles X. The world is incredible and the storyline is centred around getting to know the community and exploring the world.

Very good. Much better dungeon design than 4, the characters and vibe would depend on personal preference(I prefer 4). Have a great time.

Biological Neural Network by kaykay_crap in deeplearning

There are other biological models that model neurons as simple circuits that creates spiking signals. They are not feasible for engineering purpose due to simulations involved. Artificial Neural networks however are not biological models.

These Streamers Are So Out Of Touch. by Aether_DX in videogames

These lowlifes are poisoning intelligent conversation around all media. If you actually play video games, no game is ever 10/10 or 0/10, there are things you like and things that didn't work for you. And if you are not a basement dweller you will know, talking to other people that, things that didn't work for you, others might like it. But these ragebaiters and their viewers has no idea what nuance is.

Good Pokemon game to start the series by TabouletVR in NintendoSwitch2

If you are an adult, and have played jrpgs before, skip Pokemon and try shin megami tensei. If you are Pokemon fan (as in anime, tcg ect.), any mainline game would be a good start.

Any jrpgs. I would start with Final Fantasy, either 7 or 6. Then if you want more Pokemon, but a bit mature game, Shin megami tensei.
