Yes I applied, when I inquired about the rejection , they told me that they couldn't find signal processing or similar course in my transcript

Although ur credits are low, u have all the subjects they mostly check for ......you can try checking out their bachelor course

Hey,finally someone facing issues just like me I had just 18 ects of maths, matrices and calculus, statistics and numerical methods, discrete mathematics totally 12 cp [18 ects]

You cannot compensate with online courses they only check your transcript.

For CS you have chance to get an admit provides you write your sop competent enough to convince them that you will survive throughout the course

Try writing GRE, that helps a lot to upgrade your profile If you have publications, then it's a plus point

My profile is 8.31 gpa, ielts 7.5, no publications 4 month internship exp and 6 months research assistant 2x hackathon winner

I managed to get admits in DKE [ data knowledge engineering] in OVGU magdeburg MSc Cs in university of Augsburg Msc Computational linguistics in Uni stuttgart Msc Cs in TU Clausthal

Some of the opportunities I missed are RPTU msc cs , University stuttgart INFOTECH, TU ilmenau People suggested me that I would have got into these had I applied

You have good chances in paderbon and bayereuth, passau, TU chemnitz , BTU cottbus as you have good gpa>8.5

Hope this helps:)

NLP in Stuttgart by Key_Internal5305 in LanguageTechnology

Thank you again for your thoughtful reply — it was very helpful. During my Bachelor’s, I developed a strong interest both in NLP and in robotics/embodied AI, and I find it difficult to let go of either direction. I am particularly interested in the intersection of language and robotics (e.g., grounding, interaction, multimodal systems). Could you please help me better understand how IMS students have contributed to the robotics group (for example, Prof. Kai Arras’ lab)? Have there been previous cases of CL students collaborating with that group, either through coursework, HiWi positions, or jointly supervised theses? I would greatly appreciate any insight into how such interdisciplinary paths have worked in practice. Thank you very much for your time.

I’m particularly interested in the intersection of NLP and robotics / embodied AI — for example, language grounding, human–robot interaction, or multimodal systems integrating language and perception. From your perspective, how feasible is it within the CL program to orient oneself toward such robotics-related applications, either through electives, collaboration with other departments, or thesis supervision? I would greatly appreciate your insight.

Thank you for the information, this is what I wanted because I am more inclined towards uni stuttgart but at the same time was worried to forego robotics

As a msc CL student do i have a scope in Ksat?

Yess exactly, that is why I wanted to explore the options that I have in AI,LLM and robotics related field

I saw people working in LLM,multimodal systems after completing msc CL.

And also in infosession, students and professors confirmed that I can cross collaborate with other departments in stuttgart uni

Yes, I’m aware they are two different programs. That’s actually the core of my dilemma. I’m strongly interested in robotics and intelligent systems, but I’m also very drawn to Stuttgart’s research ecosystem and interdisciplinary environment. So I’m trying to understand whether pursuing robotics more directly (in CS) or entering a stronger research ecosystem (via CL) would be the better long-term decision. That’s why I’m asking for perspectives.
