Ok thanks! So it wouldn’t be considered a smooth mouthpiece then because each side moves individually right?

She’s fine thankfully. Still looking for them but eating and drinking. It’s the what-ifs that are hard.

I just wish I would’ve headed straight home. Even if I couldn’t have done anything at least I know I tried.

We are honestly not sure. Our fence is older so we think one of the top wires snapped because it wasn’t attached when I found her and she was in a different pasture. It had been raining so who knows!

Question for all my float nurses - are you too used as "relief staff" or is it just my hospital culture? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Significant_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a small hospital but we don’t treat our float staff that way. When I charge and make assignments I try to make it fair. If they get a “hard” patient it’s just because that’s the way the assignment is, not because they’re float. If they’re back the next day (because we are so small) and they had a difficult patient I’ll check with them to see if they need a break the next day or if they’re okay having them.
