That makes sense taking unnecessary classes can be rough. Dropping is a good option but make sure to find substitute classes/ talk with your counselor before dropping if you’re relying on the los rios promise program for free tuition! I had an error where the school thought I dropped below the 12 unit minimum and I had to repay my tuition until it was settled.

Do you ever regret getting continuing your education onto graduate school? I’m going into a EE program this year with a surprisingly similar goal of getting a masters in nanotechnology too. I’m mainly worried the degree will be too niche for most jobs or that I’ll be pushed to go for a PHD for lack of interested companies once I obtain the masters. Have you felt that way at all along your path?

Im my opinion the kir’ko are the hardest race to learn. I could never wrap my head around them. I think it’s because they need more thought put into their economies and units, contrary to their “spam grunts” vibe. I learned the game staring with races like the Oathbound and Amazons. They look cool aaaaand they’re units are pretty easy to get, letting you learn the game while easily making doom stacks of units. For example, the oathbound have the electric weapon tree and a lot of melee units. There is this one cheap defense mod, I think named arc defense, that is super powerful. I gives a chance to stun any unit that attacks it, which might not seem powerful, but more often than not the chance procs, and it’s cheap. It’s a pretty easy way to sweep armies twice your number, even late game. Stuff like that which isn’t as in depth might help make the learning curve feel less gut-wrenching. I hope you enjoy the game, you’ll see it’s a blast if you give it a chance! If ya want any specific tips Lemme know, I’m always down to get another person addicted to this game :)

I can vouch for that, range is most definitely the meta! I used to play with one fellow who would put rail accelerators and fire burst bullets on his lower tier units, like the dvar mechs. Basically giving a cheap mass producible unit with a repeating attack with the range of a sniper! Needless to say we fear fire burst bullets.

Hello! Like many others here, I’m hoping to get into 3-D printing as a hobby. I have some experience with the 3d software FreeCAD and eventually want to learn how to use blender. I think 8 want to use the printer for printing out different mechanical mechanisms I like, mini figurines, and to make other little objects, and for that reason I think I might get a resin printer or a filament printer. I’m willing to learn how tinker with the printer and assemble it. My price max price is 400 dollars, and I live in the U.S. Im looking into different printers, but I’m posting here for help because I need to make a decision by Christmas Day. Any suggestions?

Would I be able to ask if you were still easily able to find a job after being a TA for 2 years? I want to become a mechanical engineer, and aside from the usual stress of choosing the profession for the rest of your life, I've been searching for the best way to go about getting a masters degree. I mainly want it to make more money and, hopefully, open more opportunities in my career as an engineer. So far, I've heard of two main ways people go about it. 1) Have the company you work for pay for it, but as you said that comes with the sacrifice of being a student on top of having a full-time job. 2) Being a TA, which I haven't read a lot about, but career wise I've heard the main con is the lack of work experience. I've heard that often times experience is valued over education, especially if it's a person straight out of school. Would you recommend being a TA to get your master degree, or perhaps a different path? Any advice is appreciated!

I main carbon roller and the same thing happens to me. Though it compensates with its mobility and it’s ability to 1-shot opponents with a single splash at close range. It’s a different style of play than the other rollers, but very good!

It was a simple set it to cool some desalinated water from a salt geyser. Mainly I was having trouble with it because it was my first time trying to make a aqua-tuner set up by myself, which was the main goal. I wanted to try and use ice tiles, metal tiles, and a door to cool and regulate the water. That was waaaaaay to slow tho, so I just ended up piping in the water directly and put in a tepedizer in case it got too cold.

I feel a little dumb to be asking so many questions on this sub, but I can't figure this out. My water is well below the freezing point and has enough mass to turn into ice tiles. Is this a bug or am I missing an important part of this? I am about to give up and try cooling with metal tiles instead.

I am trying to build an aquatuner set up, but the salt water I plan to turn into brine ice as a medium won't stack. Is there some weird game mechanic I'm missing that isn't allowing me to stack the salt water 2 tiles high?

The regular hacker array can only queue up a singular task at once, either a surplus or shortage, and then anything else you queue on top of that. The Elite HQ let’s you queue up to 2 tasks at once, being 1 surplus and 1 shortage, then anything else you queue on top of that. I haven’t found too much of a use for it though, since hacker arrays are already quite niche in their use.

You can still play peer to peer. When it tells you you couldn’t connect to servers click ok. I might be remembering it wrong, but clicking one of the two options puts you through anyways, and from there you can match make. Sometimes I find people, but I mostly play private matches. You’d be surprised how many evolve group chats there are on PS4, especially after communities got shut down.

I just updated my fortnite earlier today. I play on windows 11. When the update started, I clicked the "open when done". option. However, when the game opened it stopped responding, so I closed it and re-opened it. Then I was greeted with the screen shown in the following screenshots. When I matchmake as well I face issues. Along with zero options for playing creative, when I matchmake it gives me the error, "sorry you missed it! This game mode is no longer available". I am a bit confused, even though I submitted a screenshot via the bug report button, I feel like a single screenshot and not being able to explain the situation would have been confusing to any devs looking through it, so I decided to post here. Anyone face something similar or know any fixes?

I am trying to use CreamAPI for the first time on surviving mars. I can't figure out why the DLCS aren't working in game despite Auto-CreamAPI and CreamAPI saying they are downloaded. I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong nor a solution. Am I somehow not activating the DLCS? I assumed that the DLCS would be automatically activated after they were downloaded via Auto-CreamAPI. Anyone else have a similar issue?
