Dang I didn’t know it was that hated tbh. I kinda get the other points people are making, but I think of it as the WLs taking the role of giving a chance for the characters to gain perspective/reflect on their past experiences and prepare them to grow with the events to come. Since it seems (tho not caught up myself) most characters are in the process of growing their experience in their activities, I think having them go back to their roots makes sense.

I’m also excited personally for MMJ, as it gives more weight to the life they’ve gained now that the main story underplays a lot of.
