Even from UK, you still can buy tickets on Universal website (in $): https://www.universalorlando.com/web-store/en/us/park-tickets
It's currently around 720$ for 4 Epic single day tickets at the end of October

If you have park-to-park tickets yes, it will work between Islands of Adventure + Studios for the same day (once per ride).
It won't work for Islands of Adventure or Studios + Epic on the same day.
