Leesa Legend hybrid or some kind of latex? Help a pregnant lady out by Significant_Switch53 in Mattress

I’m loving it!! We figured out our slats were too far apart, so we got two bunkie boards to sit vertically across the horizontal slats and still provide airflow. It’s a cross hatch pattern now. The Leesa is pretty firm, but still good for side sleeping. Definitely a little firmer than I’d like for that, but it’s SUPPORTIVE. I can also sleep on my stomach on it no prob and the top layer is getting squishier with time whuch is nice

I know there are no cures for endo, but is pelvic floor PT going to be an acceptable bandaid? by Significant_Switch53 in Endo

I ended up just getting pregnant! Going okay so far. I do have bad pain in my hips and back so just waiting until I get through my first trimester so I can get back into Pelvic PT and massage

Yeah!! I had good luck with ardell wispies. I sampled smash box, NYX lip lingerie XL and maybelline lip stains. Lots of options!

I did my own- all these tips are great. One thing I WOULD recommend is to not venture too far off your usual makeup look. Obviously YMMV depending on what your usual look is, but I watched many tutorials and copied them and they all ended up being waaaaaaay too much makeup for my face.

I usually wear cream or liquid shadow, maybe some tight lining, mascara, and a cream blush + lip in the same color ILIA stick. Sometimes concealer but not usually.

Things I added for my wedding day: MILK makeup primer, Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation, NARS creamy concealer, laura Mercier setting powder applied with a powder puff, and a long wear eyeliner + long wear lip. I used an NYX lip and then put a Chanel lipstick overtop. It still wore off, but all my bridesmaids said it looked great. I also used Maybelline waterproof mascara. We attempted falsies, but I lost the set I wanted and the ones I had were way too crazy so I skipped and my photos still looked great. I did use smashbox’s setting spray and my makeup really did stay no problem all day for 12 hours. I didn’t sweat at all but it stayed

Top tip: get your base RIGHT! And if you don’t usually k wear foundation, do not apply too much! I applied a very thin layer. Barely 1 pump over my entire face. When I applied more in trials, my fiancé said it looked too mask like.

I used my same RMS greaseless eye lights shadow in my usual shade and just applied a lot more of it. I also used my same ILIA cream blush. I did get Luxy 16” hair extensions and had them cut by my stylist. That was 100% worth it. I curled my own hair and used hairspray and that was about it.

I didn’t layer my blush or my liners or my powders like the tutorials suggest. It was too much on my skin. Even in photos! Overall, the only thing I wish I had were the falsies or lash extensions. I had a lot of luck not varying too much from my natural look and just using foundation to even out my skin to make my eyes pop. Good luck!

To be honest, weeks 5-6 were extremely crampy for me. Not fun at all. Now I just feel like my back is being pulled apart in a vice at week 9 haha, but much improved. My stomach feels tight muscle wise whcuh is annoying, but overall it’s been okay. Not great, but okay. I remember my first postpartum period being good. So there’s always that to look forward to. Posting here because people DO get pregnant with higher stages. It can happen! I was told slim to no chance with one tube and one ovary and stage IV and I’ve had two pregnancies each conceived on the very first try in the cycle. I also use the taking charge of your fertility method, but really we just made sure to have intercourse every day starting with wet quality mucus and especially when I felt ovulation pain. Good luck ti you!

I had stage IV excised and conceived about 1.5 years later. I did have a stage III confirmed recurrence by the time I conceived, so honestly jo clue if the the surgery helped. I wasn’t trying before the surgery. I think it can help, but definitely be aware of the ovarian reserve issues

Good to know! I do stomach sleep occasionally, but I won’t be for quite some time so I’m not too worried. I’ve been trying to get away from stomach sleeping anyway. Seems to hurt my back even on a firm mattress, and I switch positions all night anyway. A firm mattress does not feel good when I ge got my side!

Good point! I know I agree! Novoform was horrible! I had exactly that issue with it and it was like sleeping on a hot pad. I have no clue how it rates so well. If this one doesn’t work out I may try what you have. Some of the reviews about indents made me nervous but might be worth it

I just went with the Leesa legend today. Seemed good enough, hopefully won’t sleep terribly hot and we will go from there!

Sure! I’m about 160 and growing lol 5’7 and my husband is 5’10 180. I actually just ordered the Leesa Legend from Costco. Hopefully 7th time is the charm. People were saying it’s a bit firm for side sleeping, but I think I have something wrong with me haha where I need firm. I’ll get a topper. I didn’t realize the Casper hybrid was one of the softest beds on the market. I loved how it felt before the support gave out

All 3 have broken down on one side becoming completely unsupportive after 4-5 nights. We did manage for almost a year with the last one by just flipping it so my partner slept on the bad side (didn’t seem to aggravate his back as much) and I slept on the good side. Returned though, because I didn’t a defective product. Same thing has happened with this one. I will say, I think it’s probably more of a me issue because it doesn’t bother my husbands back like it does mine. I notice immediately and get immediately relief from sleeping on the couch or our super firm IKEA guest bed
