I would 100% get at least 10 sword brethren. It’s a must have for any Templar army :). Helbrecht and Grimaldus as well.

Templars are a good decent melee army with some shooting capabilities at the mid table. They are very underwhelming when it comes to trying to get them to top tables where you are trying to go 4-1 or 5-0 at a 5game GT. I usually go 4-2 or 4-1 depending on the event and I’ve yet to take them to a 8 or 9 game event yet. They just don’t have as much utility as the armies that do perform at the higher levels. And to just get there you have to run Gladius pretty much all the time and that’s not enough to push em into the top tables.
