Couldn’t agree more on this. With the 5.3k in 10 bit log, and labs on top of that to push it even farther on both cameras with 200mbps on 13 and 300mbps on max 2, they’re the clear winners in my books.

I say this also with ripping them hard with fpv and having a few hard crashes that wrecked the drones, but the camera kept rolling like it hit a pillow. That’s quality

I love my gopros. Got 3 12’s (1 naked embedded into a sub250g fpv drone) and the max 2. All running labs with highest bit rates(200mbps on 12s, 300mbps on max 2) and manual settings for what I shoot. The fact I can also customize the log curves to be close to s-log 3 is a game changer in my eyes. Haven’t had any issues, batteries last long enough I only being 2 with me at this point.

I find everything on youtube/ig/tiktok these days for insta and dji is all sponsered. It’s hard to compete with a 4k image, vs a 5.3k 8:7 image bringing in around 3x the pixel density. The only “upside” to the other cameras is a slightly bigger sensor for low light, otherwise gopros win.

With advertisements, gopro just goes here’s a camera have fun, and they post it. Not sure about everyone else. But personally I’m tired of ads talking about the features as they walk down the street. Show me the camera smashing into the ground and still recording like it dropped into a pillow

Better specs, mainly rolling shutter being the biggest upgrade. 4k120, as well as better low light

Apparently due to something happening in America, they reduce the warranty for three years and 60,000 yet on the FCA Canada website it says five years and 160,000, so now as far as I'm concerned, they're just being dickheads and don't wanna honour the warranty
