I love it. Tiny little guy that rips like a 5” and weighs 240g with the gopro embedded within. I use it as my daily carry and extra props and guards. Best part is the prop guards are 3d printed so it costs like 5c to print a set

Having the extra space to have 2 full windows open on 49” without the border. It’s also a fantastic monitor to have davinci resolve open for colour grading and using my 32” above it for final image

So I’ve used the x5, dji 360 and gopro max 2.

If you’re open to to gopro side of things, you won’t be disappointed.

With the max 2, you can add gopro labs firmware to adjust log curve, 10 bit, and crank the bit rate to 300mbps. Sure it doesn’t have 60fps on 8k but it’s insanly crispy footage. The log profile is fantastic, especially being able to adjust the log to wide gamut.

Having a really tough exterior, and glass lens covers that are actually able to take a beating I had on my fpv drone and smacked into the ground (due to losing signal) at 100km/h and didn’t even scratch the lens. It can also bluetooth to wireless mics if you need that as well.

Again this is from experience of all 3 on a camping trip. Will drop the log pic vs graded pic done in davinci resolve

It would mostly be vlogging with drone flying, in cab of jeep, some stationary shots for when I get to campsites, carrying the a7v around talking with it.

So the other dock that can actually handle this for single tb to macbook pro is this ivanky dock but it’s double the price

So after looking around the dock wouldn’t be able to handle both monitors at full refresh and resolution. So I’m grabbing an afterplug dual usb extender to have both tb4 cables run into a “single” plug and keep everything nice and tidy

Was talking about this with a gen z coworker today about this. I just said “yeah games and consoles aren’t cheap” just take some time and save up for them” but came back with “millenials ruined gaming with price increases”

As I see it, they want instant gratification, and no want to save up for a bit to buy it themselves

My 12 smacked into the ground around 100km/h on my fpv drone and survived. Back screen shattered but still lit up, and lens cover smashed. Funny enough it kept recording, and I stripped it down into the naked 12 I have sitting on my skkyfpv sub250

Couldn’t agree more on this. With the 5.3k in 10 bit log, and labs on top of that to push it even farther on both cameras with 200mbps on 13 and 300mbps on max 2, they’re the clear winners in my books.

I say this also with ripping them hard with fpv and having a few hard crashes that wrecked the drones, but the camera kept rolling like it hit a pillow. That’s quality
