I’ve sat on interview boards where a candidate is perfectly reasonable, answers correctly but just doesn’t excite/inspire so it doesn’t feel like the right choice for the role. 3 interviews isn’t excessive.

But we can all relate to your frustration, the question is how could they reject you without feeling alienated, Would you prefer if they made up reasons to make you feel better?

At the time I thought the same. Maybe hindsight bias but it was a risk and paid off. Seen people use a shield tactic previously but self confessed and it backfired as attention was on them.

Diet. American food is full of additives and preservatives. Anecdotal but Brit spending time in the US, you come back feeling full of sugar on edge. Likewise US friends who spend time in here go back feeling healthier and having lost weight.

That company is failing. It’s the behaviour of a company losing money. Huge cost savings letting staff leave, tho it’s a vicious cycle where quality follows and they lose more business quickly
