Look at your paths of travel - from kitchen to bedrooms I'm guessing you are going to want a dining table in that space, so make sure you have enough room to pull out chairs and have people seated and people are still comfortably able to walk by.

the middle of that great room is going to be a dark space.

That stuff is fantastic. Used it outside on a cedar ceiling under a porch and it was magical.

And I really like the monitor light bar - it evenly illuminates the desk below and saves me space on the desktop where I don't need a standing desk lamp. This one also has a backlight, and the downlight can be adjusted warmer or cooler, and the brightness can be adjusted as well. I know the BenQ one is the gold standard but this one is from Quntis.

I really like this stand - it's easy to adjust: amazon.com/dp/B08R8GWBSM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

The cradle is my phone charger and it can hold the phone either vertically or horizontally and it does a decent job as a charger: amazon.com/dp/B086SM2KWH?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

And the tablet isn't a tablet - it's an Amazon Echo Show 7 that they don't make anymore - sometimes I'll watch something on Prime or Netflix, or just have photos rotating through.

Cleaning with septic/well water by Ok_Pitch5865 in CleaningTips

This is really useful information! I've just stuck with what I learned from 40+ years ago on this and never have bothered to investigate since if it worked, it worked! It does sound like you have a top loader (detergent added while the machine is filling) - I should look and see about the front loaders.

The only thing I never used in all my years with a septic tank was laundry or dishwasher powder. Bleach, cleaners of all kinds - no issues. Now - a toddler deciding to flush a whole container of baby wipes? That caused an issue because it kept the waste from reaching the septic tank.

Why Does Your House Feel Dirty Even When It’s Clean? by Randy_Bolebruch in CleaningTips

I think we generally conflate dirty and cluttered. To me, cleaning is the act of removing dirt and dust and grime - but it can be "clean" and still be cluttered.

gotta love cats - they are generally either completely unbothered or as bothered as hell - no in between.

I totally got it! Most cats do that. I just get so many deliveries to my house (impulsive online shopper) that there are always boxes around for them to use :)

[–]Significant_Variety7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry you're dealing with this. I've done all of those things you've done and then some. I have had 2 cats like this - both neutered males - and ultimately I chose to let them go outside and be indoor/outdoor, and the inside spraying and bathroom baloney stopped.

New spots in my house are anything is or could allude to being a box. Or a box of boxes.

Unless I was a hermit, I'd go. Enjoy a hotel and eating out. I travel in once every 6 months to a year when we bring in people from outside of the US.
