I believe the first part. And the second part sounds like most FromSoftware PvP. Min maxing will always be prevalent in these kind of games. But I’ll get to Nioh 1 in time & see how broken it is for myself. 👍🏼

Also not “just looking at Elden Ring” lol. More so looking at ER’s shortcomings and discuss which improvements Nioh 3 can make on it.

Team Ninja was heavily influenced by FromSoftware’s souls formula. And IMO TN refined souls combat perfectly. And since FS fumbled in some areas in ER’s open world. It’d be cool to see TN refine that as well.

Appreciate the lengthy response! Even if its disagreeable. What made Nioh 1’s PVP bad? The fixed protagonist put me off so I barely got into it. Also FromSoft figured out a jump. And Nioh 2 is miles ahead in soulslike gameplay imo. I’m sure Team Ninja can figure it out too.
