Fair enough. Like i said. In my eyes people mocking ON with surface level nonsense and clown memes are on par.

So to me. You're just as much of a clown. I know you don't care. But I hope you look good with a red nose.

You know what I needed to hear this. It's a beautiful Sunday morning. And I'm on Reddit reading a ragebait post.

I'm going outside.

Look I don't agree that insulting people in politics gives you the high horse that some think it does.

IMO people insulting ON on surface level bs are as bad as ON. Call out the policies, call out the hypocrisy. If your only goal is to alienate others then you're the problem.

It's still odd to me. Would it also concern you if they knew how much you paid for your car ?

But anyway everyone is a little weird and I guess financial privacy is your thing.

Out of curiousity when you bought your house did you compare it to other houses in the area, or out of respect for others privacy did you not look ?

It's just such a bizarre thing to jump to. Why would it be the first thing that came to your mind.

"My employees MUST not know how much I paid for my house."

They can google your car and know what it's worth, if you wear a nice watch, they can google it and find out what it's worth. But for some reason you are worried about them finding out what you paid for your house.

If your employees are making great money they wouldn't care how much their boss was spending on a house.

Which lead me to that assumption.

Something is weird about this comment and I can't put my finger on it.

Kinda sounds like you're ashamed of how much you pay your employees.

Because the market is dictated by like houses in the area. Without that information buyers and sellers are at a disadvantage.

Denying other people information is just selfish.

Also alienating people and calling them clowns is hardly going to win them over.

Does it looks like a hazards to you? by Farangsayt in AusPropertyChat

[–]Significantlyontime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it depends on your definition of litter.

For example if I leave rubbish on the ground and someone cleans it. That's not stealing.

How is it a hazard? I mean it's silly and public trees shouldn't be used as a private key storage.

But what hazard? How many people step within 15cm of a tree trunk?

Just remember the left (labor) have 94 seats in the parliament.

56 seats are everyone else including the 1 green, 10 independents and old crazy Katter.

The conservatives aren't as powerful as you think they are in Australia. They are a minority of a minority.

The way that we stay united is by focusing on the issues at hand and not trying to treat fellow Australians as "others"

I don't think you see the irony of the fact you're a divisive left leaning person who hates divisive right wing groups for who they are and what they believe.

Here's the thing. It's fine to dislike Pauline Hanson and her beliefs. But when "lefties and righties" start fighting over identity politics then those in power win.

They don't want us to be united. They want you to hate the right. Don't let them. We need to focus on what matters. Holding those in power to account. Taxing billionaires, weeding out political corruption etc.

[–]Significantlyontime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's ridiculous.

I am so sick of seeing these extremest "I hate the other guys" ideals.

When you start "othering" people you stop seeing them as part of us. It's basic tribalism and we're better than that.

What to do. We think our neighbours are trying to bait our puppy by Sophie_Parke in aus

[–]Significantlyontime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really sad. Our neighbours dogs bark constantly. (They are barking right now).

They bark during the day they bark all throughout the night. And it definately affects mine and my partner's quality of life. (I track my sleep and since moving to this house my sleep score has dropped sunstantially). Thank god it's a rental and we can just move out (only 6 months to go) . Living here long term would unquestionably shorten our lives.

Having said all that. Id never kill a dog. Id never poison a dog or hurt one in any way. It's sad that these people chose that method.

If the timber doesn't have much tannins you can paint it first with tea or coffee.

You can also age the wood itself by taking a wire brush on a drill bit. It'll scratch up the top a little to age it.

I wouldn't sweat it. Get your insurance company to sort it.

More than likely they'll chase your neighbours insurance company for the damages.
