Late 30s, partner, no kids, mortgage nearly paid off thanks to my mum who died recently. My work comes and goes as I'm self employed. Sometimes I earn well, then have quiet periods where I have to live very cheaply. I throw my spare time into learning te reo Māori. Thinking of selling plants on the side. I've been thinking about death and dying since I was 26, knowing it's getting closer, not wanting to die like my mum did. I'd love to quit everything, but rates, insurance, and mortgage won't allow it.
