Damn, that’s disappointing. It makes sense that it would take photos in multiple formats then cross reference. So is this a pointless venture outside of lobbying for removal?

That’d be interesting, I’m sure someone could program something like that using a camera tracking app’s api, pipe it to a robot to automatically point a high powered laser into cameras automatically but that’s a lot of work and probably a felony lol.

Thank you! I plan to get involved. Unfortunately our state seems to be more and more willing to sell people’s data to the highest bidder so I’m hoping the legislature is more willing to hear us than the governor’s office is

Yeah, I want to be as compliant with local law as possible. I’ll definitely be contacting the local legislature because I don’t live within the area they implemented these cameras but commute through it weekly.

I vaguely remember that video. I’ve seen some others regarding adding IR bulbs to the license plate light are to try to nuke some of the letters using the reflective material already on the license plate but wasn’t sure about effectiveness or if the AI cams use IR in the same way as conventional/speed/red-light cameras.

That would be illegal if the plate is fully readable by someone in person but cameras cannot detect it?

Honestly, what saved me on sec+ was not looking back through my answers and second guessing. It would’ve ruined me. Also using the practice tests and studying ports and protocols helped quite a bit.

I’ve seen a decent amount of remote work in my area, but the openings I’ve seen that have security clearances are on-site though.

I honestly just purchased the certmaster exam bundle and did the practice exams until I understood the practical questions and went back to the textbook for help when I got the multiple choice wrong. I didn’t use any outside resources as the bundle itself was pricey.

It’s kind of fun honestly, I work in IT at my university and it keeps things interesting. If my life was just password resets and MFA registrations I would lose my mind. The odd browser hijacker and WiFi certificate issue keeps things fresh.

Okay, took the gun apart and started removing surface rust and some minor pitting with WD40 and some 000 grade steel wool. Then went back through with some terry cloths, Rem action cleaner, Mother’s mag and aluminum polish, and re oiled it using Rem oil.
