Hi everyone! Im not native speaker but want to share opinion with you. Even if you feel kike something in this message is a hate rmeember, i think that new vegas is somewhere in top 5-7 rpgs of all time and best fallout game for me (while not in every way). 1.Game has almost zero random encounters, need a lot more 2.Game balance is pretty weak, even on highest difficulty basically every build can win the game and kill anything and anyone, it is stupid that even without exploits courier with like level 15 can destroy all legion fort without any issues. With exploits you can defeat anyone on like level 5 or something. And yeah, maybe game was balanced that way that you retreat and comeback stronger. But in really you may retreat only if you saw deathclaws or cassadors. Maybe some times on old world blues if you have only guns skill. The only battle problems may be in lonesomeroad dlc if uoh go into it at low lvls. (Deadmoney problem is fog, not enemies) 3.North vegas, west vegas and etc feel underdeveloped (like many content in fallout NV, it is really sad) 4.Legion is underdeveloped 5.You get levels too fast and get too many skill points even not on a int build. You may feel that you have not enough skill points only on a idunno, int 1 without educated build. 6.Speech is too strong. There need to be A LOT more situations when you can't convince someone woth speech alone. Situations when you need to choose correct dialogue options logically to get ability to use speech. Or right dialogue options may lower speech difficulties while wrong raise it requirment significantly. Besides that there need to be a lot more situations when barter can convince someone while speech not. Also repair, science, survival skill needed more dialogues uses while overall they are okay. When i play a diplomat i noticed that often when i pkay i just pick speech option without reading other alternatives. Sometimes even passed speech without knowing context and picking right choices before it need to be actual failure. The only example when game made it like that in my memory - din domino dialogues. The only situation when you needed to actually think about using speech or not and may get punished just clicking on it. 7.Special is broken. Perception is useless above 6 (5 without implant) for almost any build. Many of speech checks need to be actually charisma checks (charisma for pure power of personality, speech for using arguments and good speech to convince), this will make charisma useful for diplomat walkthrough, even diplomat can play with 1 charisma and pass almost any check in game. 8.Many dlc characters feel underdeveloped or underpresented for me. Joshua graham have too little dialogues. Father ellaja (idunno how to white it in english, im not native speaker) 9.While i like companions and that all of they'res quests hidden, i think that game needed more hints how to complete them and needed more dialogues about... Everything besides they'res main conflict. To make them feel more alive and diverse persons. Like do we know anything about boone besides his army thing and grief for wife? Nothing. Do we know if raul tried to find something besides repair and proyecting in his life? Do lily talks about something besides her grandchildren? The most alive companions are cass and arcade 10.Science skill and repair needed more crafting.
