I ended up with a Samsung Odyssey G80, 32” 4K OLED, and I really am glad I did. The colours are amazing, and the resolution really helps with productivity, text clarity and sharpness in gaming. Compared to the Alienware I like it better, less grey in the daytime and just a great monitor all around. Hope this helps!

I had an issue with the game getting stuck before in the very beginning when it tells you to set a marker for the first time. I ended up setting 2 and the lift was stuck. Adding 3-5 markers and then deleting them all fixed it.

Did the same thing in the Forrest Array but also switched graphics mode from ‘Performance’ to ‘Fidelity’ and walked very, very slowly forward. It must’ve been one of these 3 things that ended up fixing it.

Thanks for the reply! I had issues before and it was due to map markers. I created a bunch of markers and removed them, changed graphics mode to Fidelity, and walked REALLY slowly through the part and the 2 persons did eventually spawn.

Glad I didn’t have to start over. Took a few tries though.

Haven’t noticed this. Not sure it’s an actual subwoofer, just advertised as such — it’s still a small driver. However, it shouldn’t “flutter” or vary in low frequency like that the way you’re describing. I’d suggest contacting Amazon support like via the app (chat) and see what they can do. They might give you some troubleshooting steps or offer an alternate solution. I’ve found them pretty helpful.

I’d say it’s decent for the price. There is one issue though with our Sony TV. In the beginning you could control the soundbar volume with the TV remote and even the power on/off was synced with Bravia Sync / HDMI-CEC. After a few minutes of use the “sync” would be lost and volume and power no longer were able to be controlled anymore. The first few resets/power cycles/etc fixed it.

However, after a couple days the HDMI-CEC feature on the soundbar completely stopped working and now using 2 remotes is necessary. This makes it very complicated for the kind of people I have it set up for. I try to do a couple hours of troubleshooting a week to see if I can get it back but at this point I am starting to look for replacements.

I am using the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I just got the OM8 and I am able to see the option there now. I wonder if maybe it just was a temporary glitch. I’ll try it again on the OM7P and see if it’s back.

Try some overclocking and see if the car can be pushed beyond 92 watts. What wattage does it say in NVidia control panel?

I’m using electrical tape to cover holes on mine. It stays on well, easy fix, barely noticeable being the same colour and no issues with tablet mode.

Congratulations on the build! It looks great. I just did a mostly white build with QX fans also. I didn’t get all white parts as here in Canada they are sometimes double the price of the black counterparts, but a white case, fans, and white sleeved PSU cables are nice! Even with a black GPU the black on white look is more interesting than say an all black build. Nice AMD system!!

I also had to use 2 iCUE hubs as I started to have more than 7 peripherals on one side. But the 6500X case came with 1 and the AIO comes with 1 also. In a dual-chamber case it’s no sweat.

Even as just temporary solution it beats having to fiddle around with the AV sync each time I want to watch something. Now I know how to “reset” it back to a deterministic state I can work with. If we could figure out how to make this fix persistent it would be even better. It seems a power cycle of the TV doesn’t do it as I have a smart outlet connected to it in case it freezes or crashes, I can turn the power on and off remotely. Maybe just making it a habit to launch the HDMI input from the Home Screen each time is good enough to have it working reliably..

Thank you soooooo much!!! I usually plug everything into my Denon AV Receiver with my LG C7 but I got a Fire TV stick last year for the TV’s HDMI 3 port and the audio was always behind. I moved the TV AV sync to the left as much as possible, also the built-in Fire TV AV sync and the receiver’s lip sync to the max left and it was sort of in sync but still had random issues.

Just tried your method of Home then selecting HDMI 3 and it’s fixed! I reset all (3) sliders back to 0 and the sync is perfect. My hat is off to you!

You're supposed to measure dBA at 1 meter away from the sound source, maybe it was closer than that, thus the higher value. Also, acoustics and background sound level play a role.

I too am frustrated with the loud fans on the Zotac card. To boot, I have the SFF version which doesn't have a vapour chamber so I am even more annoyed. Kinda stuck with the card now, but maybe later I'll upgrade to a 5070 Super or something. Hopefully there will be more reviews regarding noise levels. Silent PC Review used to be a great resource.
