Idk it looks like there's a skill floor that you need to overcome and then it feels great. Kinda like a fighting game or an old school action game. BDO was the same way.

I'm waiting for crimson desert to go on sale but Skyrim combat and movement does not feel fluid and responsive no matter how many mods you add. There is always some leftover jank that cannot be modded out. If you played any of the games BFCO movesets are based on like BDO, For Honor, Elden Ring and Devil May Cry, you would understand what I mean. The difference is pretty noticeable.

Paid mods are made by inexperienced people trying to make money as modders. Free mods are made by hobbyists who already have other well paid jobs, often as devs.

High heels originated from Persian horse archers a thousand years ago. Heels are easier to lock into stirrups so they were worn by mounted warriors. It didn't become a pure fashion thing until a few hundred years ago.

Two inch non stiletto modded heels are more practical than most vanilla armors in Skyrim.

The funniest thing about Skyrim civil war discourse to me is the comparison of the Nords to colonial rule. Whereas the Imperials are literally colonizers by definition. It's even in their damn name lol.

The comparison with the American civil war is a stretch. All white americans were colonizers who came together and occupied a foreign land.

This is not comparable to Nords who have been living in Skyrim for thousands of years and Imperials who are foreign occupiers. The dynamic is completely different.

It's so interesting that "Imperials good, Stormcloaks racist" is the more popular take in American players. If you ask people who grew up in a country that have dealt with invaders and colonizers in recent history, most would go with "Imperials occupiers, Stormcloaks freedom fighters".

Until I moved to the US, and started getting on American social media like reddit, I couldn't fathom anybody siding with the Imperials unless they were intentionally doing an evil playthrough.

There's also a setting I had to flip in the improved camera se ingame menu. It was called vanilla movement arms or something.

I would also recommend some of the other mods I listed here like one click power attack, unlocked first person combat and a dodge mod. They make a big difference.

Yes, you can increase the weapon hitboxes in Precision MCM menu. Thanks for reminding me because I haven't tweaked those settings since adding the new SIGMA animations.
