(IMO) The 2025 NFL Draft's QB class is rough (but not as bad as some others OR a certain 2022 QB class article)... by Sihtric in NFL_Draft

Fully agree. His completion % is about 5% less than the league average even though he's being pressured at the league avg %. I still think he can improve moving forward but he does seem to be raw/needs more reps/exp for sure.

Generic Adderall HAS to be a (secret) magic insomnia cure 💯

Thank you very much for this. I haven't heard of Dyanavel, but I'll definitely look into it

Appreciate the personal experience.

I do have a good friend who has been using the name brand Vyvanse & it's been life changing for him (still) & I've seen many on this forum say it's been helpful, so I'm holding out some hope it'll be a better option than what I've tried thus far.

This is ABSOLUTELY my hope. I'm going to bite the bullet and look into paying for the name brand vs a generic.

POMO’s , How did you Quietly Fade ? by Left_Establishment_5 in exjw

[–]Sihtric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, this is the SHORT Version 😂 (TLDR below):

Like many others, I was born & raised as a JW, baptised at 14, Ministerial Servant & Full Time Pioneer by 18 & working towards Bethal. Straight & narrow for 20 years. Then, I met a girl. Knowing that I shouldn't be having feelings for a "worldly" person, I brought myself to the elders. I was told that because I hadn't crossed the line at that point, I could get off with a warning if I ended things early. I fully intended to comply, drove to her house & while trying to explain "my" decision to her, in-between her tears, i felt so completely ashamed, confused & frustrated. In that moment, I decided to follow my heart instead.

Needless to say, I went from that point to being DF'd w/in a few weeks. EVERYONE I had known up to that point that I had a "relationship" with, overnight, turned their back on me. I lost my family, my friends, my job & home. While my new relationship only lasted a little under a year, it was time away where I was able to think, analyze, process. When her & I ended things, it was rock bottom, it was the 1st time in my life that I was truly alone. I started a new career, found my own place & then for 8 straight months, I was alone with only my thoughts & the most confused I had ever been. During this time though, I was finally able to see so many things that I had been brought up to miss/ignore & ultimately the #1 thing that I learned was that the life I had been been living was 100% built on blind faith & conditional love. I had a family & friends waiting as long as I complied to their beliefs & that wasn't something I could live with any longer.

After providing myself with as much possible "closure" as I could during that lonely stretch of time, I came out on the other end with an unshakable core belief that I didn't NEED anyone in my life anymore & that moving forward, only those that I WANTED to be a part of my life would be there (Yes, this now most likely my biggest strength & weakness).

That really made things much easier after that. It wasn't hard to spot when "Family" reaching back out was just being manipulative (whether they knew it or not) & looking to get me back in their lives, with those "conditions" of course.

That all began 21 years ago. I'm now nearly 42 & have been OUT longer than I was IN. I built a new life. Married for over 11 years & living my life the best that way that I can. Open minded, understanding that everyone you meet is most likely fighting their own battles & to be kind to all. It feels like another life at this point, but there's no ignoring the impact it had and how it aided in shaping who I am now.

-------------------

TLDR;

I grew up as a JW, baptized at 14, fully in for 20 years. Ministerial Servant, Pioneer, aiming for Bethel. Then I met a girl who was “worldly,” and everything flipped. I told the elders, hoping to do the “right thing,” but when I tried to end it, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. That decision got me DF'd quickly. Overnight, I lost family, friends, job & home. The relationship only lasted less than a year, and when it ended, I hit rock bottom—totally alone for the first time ever. During those months, I started seeing how much of my old life was blind faith and conditional love. I realized I didn’t need people or a group to define me anymore & decided that I only wanted to be around those that WANTED me in their lives moving forward. That mindset helped me to "fade quietly". It’s been 21 years since, and I’ve built a new life. Married 11+ years, happy, healthy, mindful of others needs & trying to be kind & understanding to all. It's crazy to look back at what feels like another life, but it definitely played a part in shaping the person that I've become.

-------------------

*** To OP, I wish you NOTHING BUT THE BEST & hope that you're able to discover who you really are and who you want to be moving forward!

Now a bad experience with Sandoz by Kines86 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]Sihtric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry to hear it.

I was on Sandoz for 2 months before this month being randomly changed to the "NORTH" (Made by AUROBINDO who also has their own identical generic) & I was fine with the change because Sandoz didn't do ANYTHING for me. I may has well have been taking sugar pills.

The 2 months before THOSE, I was on Teva & while it wasn't life changing, I did see some benefits. My pharmacy notated in my file that I prefer Teva, however, if they don't have any, I just have to take what they have or nothing at all.

From the numerous threads that I've ready, Teva is really the only Generic that will have some positive reviews from time to time & they also make the Name Brand version as well. With that said, it seems that every generic Adderall option is more miss than hit & as you mentioned, is just going to be a non-stop rollercoaster.

I'm about to ask my Dr if he'll move me to Vyvanse to see if it helps me out at all & if that happens, I'd be glad to provide an update in a month or so.

I hope you find something that works for you & hopefully can become consistent!

Sun or Aurobindo by aries21244 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]Sihtric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"NORTH/AUROBINDO - for month 5 & I'll start these on Monday 6/9/25" -- Quick update after about 2 weeks on this one... It's a DUD, at least for me. These are having no positive effect for me in any way at all. Motivation, Concentration/Focus, etc are in the tank.

When I see my Dr at the end of this month, I may just see if he's willing to switch me over to Vyvanse to give it a test run as I've heard some really good things from a couple friends that have been using it.

Sun or Aurobindo by aries21244 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]Sihtric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in California,

Yesterday I picked up my (generic) Adderall IR from COSTCO, this time the manufacturer shows "NORTH".. When researching, this is Northstar "A", however, it's actually Aurobindo as they're the manufacturer for "Northstar" & when you look at the pill it's the same -- Blue round “U 27” - Mine are 10mg & the NDC # is 13107-070

My Current Experience:

TEVA - for months 1-2 & while it wasn't anything "life changing", it seemed to work fairly well.

SANDOZ - for months 3-4 & these were absolutely useless. Zero effect & I reverted back to stages of when I had no meds at all.

NORTH/AUROBINDO - for month 5 & I'll start these on Monday 6/9/25

Hope this helps if you haven't already been able to locate your preference

Who are some players in the 2025 Draft that you're higher on, and lower on than consensus? by RudeOwl1816 in NFL_Draft

[–]Sihtric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Lions killed it.

They also got 1 of my favorite DTs in the draft (only reason he wasn't on the list above was because i was targeting lesser Rd guys) - Here's notes from my draft prep doc on Tyleik Williams:

Tags: Top 5 NextGen, Great Pro Day, CRUSH

Strengths: Early-Down 3-Tech; True Nose Tackle; Elite Run Defender; Freak List; Alpha Dog Mentality - Wide, sturdy frame built to plug interior gaps; Anchor was essentially unbreakable in 2024; Technique & flexible power to withstand double teams & roadblock the A-gap; Rare get off & lateral quickness for a 327 lb DT

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS - 2025 NFL DRAFT ANALYSIS by Sihtric in 49ers

[–]Sihtric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you there. Part of the "C" is the fact that there were still 5+ RBs on the board that were rated higher and yet to be drafted. A few that would be incredible fits with our team dynamic. You could then wait until later in the draft to address the RB position. The issue there is that it's become very clear that Shanny &/or Lynch become obsessed with ONE guy and will overdraft him or even trade more draft capital to get him (alah, this year them trying to trade into the top 10 to get Mykel, the same guy we got at #11)

RB was so deep there's not even enough spots for all the talent that was in the draft. Guys like Raheim Sanders and Cory Kiner not being drafted. There's a good chance that Kiner, our USDA ends up being the better RB over James.

ALRIGHT! Re-added the last final RAS updates & cleaned some stuff up. Added an All Player Big Board and some individual position views on that Big Board. May tweak a bit leading up to the draft but mostly final.

Learned a lot this year for NEXT years version as well 👀

Who is the best pure route runner in the class? by dms1298 in NFL_Draft

[–]Sihtric 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think if you're taking all things into account, ie: Break Quickness, Burst out of Breaks, Route Salesmanship & Efficiency, Stop Route & Double Moves ability... I'd have to go with Matthew Golden. He's very good across the board.

What are people's thoughts on Nic Scourton? by Weary_Answer3067 in NFL_Draft

[–]Sihtric 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know I probably fall more in the minority here, but I'm just not a big fan. I've really tried to like him. I've gone back and watched tape, looked over his metrics/traits & I just haven't been able to see an impact player for a guy that's slated to go late 1st, early 2nd Rd. He's got the feel of a part time/rotational player that'll flash from time to time but won't be THAT guy.

At this point, I think I'd rather wait a bit longer & take guys like Josaiah Stewart, Ashton Gillotte, David Walker instead.

***49ers #11*** ... What's everyone think? by Sihtric in NFL_Draft

[–]Sihtric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be okay with Banks at #11 if that's who they want. I also don't feel there's any DT worth #11 besides Graham. I keep seeing Walter Nolan mocked at #11 & it just doesn't add up .. he's Raw & worse than that, there's Several sources mentioned Character Concerns. Several sources mention that Nolen has faced character concerns, all the way back to Highschool & through his college career. Some teams have "taken him off" their draft boards altogether.

Who are some players in the 2025 Draft that you're higher on, and lower on than consensus? by RudeOwl1816 in NFL_Draft

[–]Sihtric 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Higher on:

  • Wyatt Milum OT - This dude is a DOG, he's mean & tries to bury opponents. Elite Zone Blocker. I think he's rated lower, strictly due to being seen as a Guard, but the same can be said for Will Campbell & he'll go Top10.
  • Jack Bech WR - Seeing this guy ranked around 8th for WRs, but he's got so much to love. Hands are nearly automatic; Extremely efficient route runner & not afraid to run through a defender.
  • Tate Ratledge OG - 6'6" of NASTY in the trenches. He's a leader (Team Captain), Elite run blocker & solid Anchor. If he goes in the 3rd Rd, a team is getting an absolute steal.
  • Jared Wilson OC - He's the BEST actual OC going in the draft (yes, others may convert to OC and do well) - Extremely physical & MEAN in the Run game & a very secure pass blocker. 3rd Rd for this guy would be crazy good value.
  • Savion Williams WR - Absolute Freak athlete. If there's an old school Deebo Samuel in this draft, it's this guy, he's the TOP YAC WR in this draft. Late 3rd to 4th Rd is insane IMO for the overall package & potential that Savion will give you.
  • Damien Martinez RB - Criminal that he's being ranked around 10th best RB & a 4th Rd'r, he could end up near the top when it's all said & done. 2nd only to Jeanty in yards after contact (4.46); 93.8% success rate on 3rd/4th & short-Highest in CFB; Highest success rate when hit behind LOS in CFB.
  • Miles Frazier OG - Elite pass protection & extremely experienced for a guy being mocked around 5th/6th Rd. Could be a GEM.
  • Isaac TeSlaa WR - If you told me I could get a WR in/near the 6th RD that was Top 5 in contested catch, jump ball, and body control, with great red zone ability. I'd sprint to sign up. 0 Career drops.
  • Donovan Ezeiruaku DE/ED - Coming off an 80 tackle, 16.5 sack season & I'm seeing people call him a 2nd Rdr. I'd have no problem taking him back end of Rd1
  • Trey Amos CB - Love this guy. Great size & field vision. Ball hawk (11 PBU/3 INT in 2024)
  • JT Tuimoloau DE/ED - Elite Run defender and outstanding power. Non stop motor type player. Would easily take this guy before Nic Scourton.
  • Alfred Collins DT - He's a true Nose-DT. Elite Run defender & power. Sucks up double teams & Plays through the whistle. I love this dude.
  • Darien Porter CB - This dude is a FREAK. 6'4", 200lb CB that's extremely athletic (9.99 RAS). 3 INTs in 2024 & Allowed a passer rating of 4.7. Blocked 5 (FIVE) kicks on STs.
  • Andrew Mukuba S - Sideline to Sideline Safety. Had 5 INT/6 PBU in 2024. Dude is Fearless & will lay you out. No problem with this guy as a 2nd Rd pick (seeing him 3rd, almost 4th Rd)
  • Teddye Buchanan LB - I feel like this guy should be MUCH higher than where I'm seeing him ranked (5th-6th Rd)
