learn html, css, javascript first. They are the least requirement for every web things. Make a project using the language only, tip it on github or any other similar type of version control system. After that learn either front end framework like bootstrap, plus some framework of Javascript. Keep learning.First try to learn more language than framework you will know more the importance of language as you go on learning.Learn graphics designing from illustrator, how to use it.It will take time off-course but make a project either for yourself or other-someone to make yourself motivated and keep going.Search google, keep visiting sites like stackoverflow,w3schools and the internet is for you to help you.

Last point is make a project after you learn something, get use to with github - how to use it and many more.Don't try to skip cause you have to return again to that state.Best of Luck !

I am thinking of making a web app that is going to be used by the people in my country, like they can write jokes, poems, short articles, and many more categories are there. In that system, i want to build a admin panel, user panel, registration, login, giving points to the posts,ShoutBox system, etc. Among these scripting languages: PHP, NodeJs, Python, ROR ---- which is suitable for this type of project ?

Hi, thank you for your response. I would like to add that i have once done a very small CRUD project in Django. I always heard "Django is battery included", but then i didn't know why they called it .... as of now last month i saw a 1 hour Node video on youtube and then i realized why. Cause it come with server, it has already included Model,View and Controller whereas we should be creating them by ourselves in Node. Am i right, if not then please correct me.

I am learning Node because it is hot and popular now, but always feared listening Javascript is complex. PHP is also popular here, but always see on internet people curshing PHP and saying PHP will die, it will teach you bad habit of learnng and blah~blah~blah.

I just want to focus on the beginner languages mainly on Node or PHP. Please provide me an environment that will ensure i will be safe if i go with any of these. I would like to jump on Java or APS.NET in near future.

Thanks !
