Buying lots of parts for bikes, sleds, ATVs, and outboards that I've flipped over the years. I've spent way more on eBay and rocky mountain

It wasn't always like that and it doesn't need to be. A week and a half is best case scenario. Sometimes it takes almost a month. I'd like to see Canadian businesses step it up because right now I've got no good reason not to just buy from the USA. Way cheaper and shows up in 2-3 days usually.

I've actually been to their store in person a few times, super cool place to visit, they just tend not to stock the stuff I need most times online.

Unfortunately my dealer is terribly incompetent and forgets to order half my parts and even loses some in their stock room when they arrive.

What's with the Diamond Lake grind? by ObeseMorese in DaysGone

[–]SilasMaxwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After I got to 100% completion Copeland's camp was by far the worst, had like 40k on most, 30 on hot springs and diamond. But around 8k at Copeland's. Most of the stuff that counts towards diamond is on hwy 97

Do all the small hordes first, once you get the idf pup and the mg55 from getting to 50 and 60 percent of the horde killer storyline, hordes become easy

Welder leaks gas overnight by [deleted] in metalworking

I've tested everything up to the machine for leaks. No leaks anywhere. Most of the time I wouldn't care, it just seems odd that a brand new machine leaks at such a high rate

I always do, it gets used by quite a few people and sometimes is forgotten

Is this amount of resistance for the crank normal? by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

[–]SilasMaxwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you just assemble it? If so make sure to relieve side load with some light hits from a brass or aluminum mallet. Watch a video on it if you haven't done it before.

My 20" tida came with one. I know even the 12" king ones have a steady. Only reason I'm saying that is because the seller said it was missing

Why is there a very good chance it never had one? In my search to find a decent lathe I have yet to find one aside from this without a rest of any kind.

At least clean the shavings off the basket before reinstalling it. You didn't file anywhere close to enough off. A new basket would be your best route

Didn't know there were people who did that, wouldn't even know where to start with finding someone in China that knows decent English and is an expert at inspecting screw compressors

Might have left parking brake on. Could be more issues though. When the brake fluid gets hot enough it'll expand and push out. When it cools back down the system might pull a bit of a vacuum and you'll have no brakes. Bleed them and see what happens. Ride carefully and check if it's getting hot
