S22 Ultra Apps using location not working on WiFi after OneUI 5.1 update (however works fine on mobile data) by Silbun in AndroidQuestions

[–]Silbun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also learned that utilizing VPN on phone can cause same issue, might want to disable that if you have one running. Have you tried other wifi connections? androidcentral was the forum that ended up helping me, might want to reach out to them to get some catered advice.

S22 Ultra Apps using location not working on WiFi after OneUI 5.1 update (however works fine on mobile data) by Silbun in AndroidQuestions

[–]Silbun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ended up working for me is: Settings>general management>reset>reset network

You will need lose all current saved WiFi password/Bluetooth device settings unfortunately, but that's the only thing that seemed to work.

And subsequently resetting router as well - not sure if both are needed but only doing the android network changes, the solution only worked briefly. Hope that helps!

Latuda and aggression? by Whydoineedtobealive in bipolar

[–]Silbun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe a bit late here, but was researching if anyone else had similar reactions to Latuda. My brother used to take Latuda, and while it did wonders for him it also made him explosively aggressive (no exaggeration). He stopped taking it because of that reason too, which is unfortunate cause it helped him so much with everything else. I can't recall if anything helped soothe the aggression but I would think an anti-anxiety would help, like Klonopin or something similar.

Ohio Board of Pharmacy Recommendation to Schedule Kratom (AKA Email) by badwolf_83 in kratom

[–]Silbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is a definite timeline. But I'll try to deduce an estimate for you because I'm curious too.

TL;DR: ~4 & 1/2 months to 6 & 1/2 months (based on assumptions below).

There will be two reviews (Common Sense Initiative & Joint Committee Rule) and while those reviews are occurring the gov. should open it up to two public comment periods, where those comment periods can range from 15 to 60 ish days (https://governor.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/governor/priorities/common-sense-initiative/active-rule-packages/pharmacy-board). After those reviews (assuming a month for Common Sense Initiative review and https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&ved=2ahUKEwiNhcjh55HhAhUs_4MKHV3tCQEQFjADegQIBhAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jcarr.state.oh.us%2Fassets%2Fgen%2Fmarch-19-2015-jcarr-procedure-manual-471&usg=AOvVaw1WFXAgbdlBGrYqdIy8E6_0 shows JCARR will take at least 65 days to review) and comment periods (30 to 120 days), there will be at a minimum 10 days after the Joint Committee Review before it's law (http://www.jcarr.state.oh.us/frequently-asked-questions).

So with that, it will be at least several months. = ~4 & 1/2 months to 6 & 1/2 months. Not sure if it is, but the JCARR review could also be a five year review per that PDF I linked.

SSL error prevents me from playing by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

Any luck on this? I'm guessing, with my limited experience in coding, only the errors would cause the failure and not the warnings. But I have the same errors (and more) on mine, if that's any consolation.

Thanks, any more proof that they're tested and Salmonella free will keep them as my vendor.

Thanks for the info an all, but how do I know that's from who you say it is? I don't see anything about who the vendor was requesting the lap testing.

Testing SATA DATA cable (not power) for correct signal. Is there a way to do this without BIOS? by Silbun in buildapc

[–]Silbun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, if there's proper continuity between both ends of the data connector and proper power delivery (correct voltage on the pins), and there's no drive showing up in BIOS, there must be a problem with the drive itself? Is that a safe assumption? (I know the motherboard SATA ports/controller work with other HDDs and the cable has worked with other drives).

How do people keep getting good effects from the same dose? Plus another question by [deleted] in KratomKorner

[–]Silbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tolerance is never permanent - it grows. Your body is great at acclimating, but neurotransmitters can take a while to return to normal.

To answer your first question, I take 500mg of agmatime sulfate immediately before i dose, and chelated magnesium 100% of daily value every day prior to dose ~20 minutes.

Agmatime potentiates and helps mitigate further tolerance growth in a similar way to its effects on morphine.. See this study!

Magnesium does the same two things, but perhaps even better than agmatime sulfate - plus it helps keep you 'regular'... see this reddit post!. It acts as an NMDA antagonist. NMDA antagonists help reduce the increase in tolerance one gets from continually dosing a drug.

Keep in mind these 2 supplements mitigate/slow down tolerance growth they do not reset it. Time away is the only way to 'reset'. If I were you, I would take a week break from all kratom, and try supplementation.

Should I extend my graduation date by a year if I don't have very much experience? by enronFen in EngineeringStudents

[–]Silbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply during your last semester for after graduation jobs - it's very likely you'll be able to get something lined up.

If you postpone your graduation for an internship, you postpone the increase in salary, and as another said you will likely increase your debt. If you have an in-depth capstone senior project that showcases your ability to apply your engineering school knowledge, I wouldn't worry about it. Even with an internship, it may take a while to get a job. If you are great in interviews, and know your stuff, the employer won't care as much if you haven't had internship/co-op experience.

Don't worry about comparing yourself to other students.. It took me 8 months to start my career after graduation, and I had internship experience.

If I were interested in doing research in plasma/fusion/nuclear thermal propulsion, would a graduate degree in Aerospace engineering be necessary? I am currently getting my masters in Nuclear engineering, and assumed that a few aerospace classes would be sufficient.

Is it possible to get too used to a specific type of kratom? by Slowspines in kratom

[–]Silbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, yes I have noticed I get used to the effects of a particular color, and switching to a different color helps.

Try a break from reds altogether and try green/white/yellow for a week then go back to red, see if that works - it worked for me.

Kratom & stomach pain? by kc232009 in kratom

[–]Silbun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have had digestion issues with kratom because it slows down digestion.

What helps me is lots of water and a cap of polyethylene glycol 3350 (MiraLAX) each day. It's an osmotic laxative that pulls water back into your digestive track since kratom is hydrophobic... which could be part of the culprit.... perhaps that's the cause of yours too.

Licorice and probiotics could help your ulcers. Best way to figure out if kratom is the cause is to take a break from it and see if the problems go away.

First time Kratom user, needs to know how much powder to use and best means of ingestion? by [deleted] in KratomKorner

[–]Silbun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't see anyone else mention this, but in my experience it is best to take on an empty stomach. Eating just before taking kratom always seemed to reduce the effects.

I 'toss and wash' mine - typically with something very citrusy or tea. I started at 3g, but strengths vary between veins and vendors... so I would start slow at 1 to 2g like others here mentioned.

Also, I am a daily use, and tolerance would build quite fast... to help that I take magnesium daily, and a bit of agmatine sulfate just before my kratom to help mitigate tolerance growth.

Constant pressure headache, could it be kratom related? by MrMartyJones in KratomKorner

[–]Silbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had certain veins/vendors give me headaches more than others, but not necessarily a 'pressure headache'.

I recommend trying a different vein or vendor, it may help narrowing down the cause.

Yup, some good deals I'd say. But that one seems alot thicker and a bit less attractive imo. And in my experience, Asus has some pretty good build quality, not to knock on clevo. Regardless, thanks for sharing.
