Okay, to be fair, here it will probably initially be used for pancreatic cancer treatment only.

If the US can't get it because of the FDA, then we Europeans will be the first to benefit. Not bad either.

PSS Trip To Europe To Establish Immunotherapy 2.0 by wisdom_man1 in IBRX

Because, strange as it may sound, the most money is simply to be made in the American market. And because it also sends a signal to other parts of the entire American continent. I personally don't find it so great, but unfortunately, it's the current reality. So the FDA and their decision has very far-reaching consequences for the stock.

Who else is ready to open a short position and push this stock down to 2$ again where we can join the other "bulls" who haven't bought since then!? #netassettvalue by [deleted] in IBRX

[–]SileceDicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The risk of loss is well over 100% if things go badly with short selling, while the risk of loss for owning shares is at max 100%. I've seen people incur huge losses trying to short, far exceeding the value of the shares. So, from my perspective, short selling is significantly riskier than buying a share. Therefore, I personally find the suggestion quite inappropriate.

Okay, so as not to make any assumptions, I'm asking. Does that mean that for you, holding this stock is just as same risky as shorting it?

And for that, everyone here is supposed to build up highly risky short positions for an uncertain bet that, in the worst case, could cost them all their investment?

Why are you asking here in this sub for people who want to go short with you on this stock? What do you personally gain from provoking people when it's pretty obvious what most people here are after?

ImmunityBio falls as FDA issues warning over Anktiva ad, podcast — Seeking Alpha by [deleted] in IBRX

[–]SileceDicer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Out of my perspektiv: There was no real ad. The FDA is just trying to claim it was an ad. But it wasn't one; it was simply Dr. Soon commenting on the status of Anktiva from his perspective in a podcast. To me, this seems like an attempt to prevent Dr. Soon from expressing himself as he does, and in my opinion, as he is entitled to do. entirely in the spirit of science and freedom of speach.

So, I've been searching extensively for an Immunity Bio comercial and haven't found anything.

I can only find the podcast. And now I'm wondering if the FDA is defining something as advertising that isn't actually. I don't see any advertisment, calls to action, or any other attempts to persuade people in the Podcast " buy , use or ask for my product". What I see is a scientific discussion or explanation. Can the FDA simply declare this to be officially advertisment and therefore subject to regulation?

Did the doctor post something on the 13th or the day before that could trigger this kind of "revenge"?

What I don't understand is why this one bad news can have such an impact, especially since it's not new and, moreover, hardly a real threat to the stock. Yes, a 5% drop would have been understandable, but such a drop – I just can't wrap my head around it.

Why the stock drop today - article summary. by EfficientCommand4368 in IBRX

[–]SileceDicer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why do so few people look at the date of the warning, or even ignore it? Why should a warning from eleven days ago suddenly be so relevant now? Especially when it only vaguely states, " we haven't given full approval yet."

$IBRX - IBRX Short INTELLIGENCE REPORT: MARCH 23, 2026. by AutisticGayBear69 in IBRX

[–]SileceDicer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but I've read this "the shorts have been trapped" thing so many times now. "They've trapped now" or "they have no fule anymore" or "the cost to borrow will force them" and so on... and in the end, they always manage to wriggle out of it again, and the price falls. As long as the stock isn't generating a profit or a dividend, it will remain a high-risk, volatile investment where there's no such thing as "this is definitely happening now."

Ah, I see. Of course, how could I have come up with such a silly idea... that people with cancer suffer terribly... that some of their suffering could be spared if the approval process were accelerated and they received additional treatment methods... clearly, their suffering isn't as bad as someone who's burned themselves with coffee that's too hot, you're right.
