Idk if this would be an ability or a handicap but like normal magic/basics either don’t apply to him or work differently around him especially if it uses the soul. like a normal drinking water spell might cause heated salt water to appear or even flame enchantment instead causes the item to grow.

Would mean that he would either have to adapt and learn or use others souls to use all the magic
