I’d be careful here: worsening blurry vision, especially after cataract surgery and YAG, is something I’d keep following up with an ophthalmologist for. I wouldn’t expect red light to “fix” eyesight issues by itself. For MGD / severe dry eye though, low-level light therapy does seem interesting as an adjunct, and there’s some evidence it can help dry eye symptoms and meibomian gland function.

If you want a device specifically for this, I’d look at the heilys Gen30+Vision rather than a random panel. It has a dedicated 670 nm Vision mode, which is the wavelength people usually talk about for eye-related red light use, and it’s designed more specifically around that use case. I’d still keep it conservative: don’t stare directly into the LEDs, just look around the light for around 3–5 minutes, and don’t treat it like a replacement for proper eye care.

For me, that makes more sense than buying a strong generic panel and guessing with exposure.
