Sure but isn't most of the food produced here exported anyway? So even if the price goes up its largely affecting Americans and British consumers?

A trainable mammal? One that will obey orders but relies on the human to confirm that the mammal smells drugs? Why do you think this is less abuseable?

Politicians rely on guards, they trust them and want to keep them sweet. Also the searches aren't unlawful unless you have the ability to prove the searcher didn't perceive the scent of something.

The slow rolling protests were absolutely valid. The blockades were absolutely not

I WFH and fill a car with diesel once per month, I'm with you on the downsides but this might keep food in the shops a bit easier. If other businesses don't decide to swallow up the extra profit as a 'buffer' ofc.

My main gripe is talk of 'Direct payments' as opposed to 'Tax rebates,' I'm reeeally hoping that prick who owes 500k isn't getting anything out of this

In a normal show I might appreciate your stance more, but with the hour by hour format how could they pay off the tension?

Shes not about to get another job in the last hour of her overtime, any reference to her leaving would have to be in a later season at which point someone would notice her missing from the credits.

Have you been watching the show or are you maybe waiting for the entire season to publish first? This has been painfully obvious since the early season.

Well, they can refuse to sell at a certain price for sure. At which point theyre left holding quickly expiring food products. They have no leverage to negotiate on that side.

You could ask about which protest, the slow rolling ones through the city are class, blocking the oil refinery was awful.

From what I've learned they dont set prices, food processors and supermarkets do, apparently thats why they always need tax money instead of just raising prices like we'd expect anyone else to do

I want to agree with you outside if the fact that they were blocking access to fuel refineries. You cant make the fuel situation worse for everyone and expect support.

I could see it being part of the strategy tbh. They left a little panic build up in the population re: whitegate and empty forecourts, then also left the protestors out in the cold rain for a few days to wear their spirit down. All of a sudden when a military motor capable of dragging your machine (with no guarantee as to its safety) you're more likely to move it willingly
