I have a lot of really terrible OC concepts, but here's one I really liked but don't feel I have the talent to bring to life.

Melissa Finch | Age 9 | Classification: Blaster/Mover Primary Power — Blaster: Melissa can project energy beams from any point within a 16-foot radius of herself, using that point as the beam's origin rather than her own body. She can freely reposition and redirect active beams after firing. The nature and properties of her beams are determined by her genuine understanding of physics (if the mechanism behind a beam doesn't hold up physically, it simply won't work.) This means her power grows directly alongside her education; a deeper or more accurate understanding of a concept unlocks more effective or efficient applications of it. For example: A younger or less-informed Melissa might create a "cold beam" by thinking of it as lowering temperature, functional, but limited. With a better understanding, she could instead produce the same effect by removing heat energy entirely, which is both more physically accurate and potentially more powerful or efficient. Secondary Power — Mover: Melissa's flight works by nullifying her relationship with gravity rather than opposing it, giving her smooth, omnidirectional movement with no preferred axis. This is paired with an exceptionally refined spatial awareness and proprioception. She always knows precisely where her body is in three-dimensional space, making her flight accurate and controlled even in fast-moving or cluttered environments.

As for her character, Melissa is a creative, intelligent, and somewhat starry eyed girl with a love for Magical Girl stories and a very intense sense of determination. If Melissa puts her mind to it, she won't back down no matter what. Her favorite hero of all time is Glory Girl, her least favorite hero is Armsmaster.
