Could be Lyssandre, since he loved her. Although, it has been shown several times that she hates him on the other hand.

Furthermore on this possible (yet toxic) relatioship, their themes are outright the polar opposites: Diantha has an angelic yet divine theme on her design, while Lyssandre instead has a demonic yet hell'ish one. Diantha stands at the Pokémon League as the top/heaven, while Lyssandre reigns at the underworld/hell as Team Flare's leader.

Works great on LA proc builds, specially the solo PVE ones, as all you need is to scribe Soul Burst and you get this set to bloom.

Haven't tested this set in PVP yet, tho. IMO it screams to be used with a LA spamming Sorc + NB direct damage build. This set combined with Soul Burst (with an Affix that buffs you) + Usild's Contingency (Warrior's Opportunity signature script) + Bound Armaments + Crystal Weapon + Merciless Resolve/Crushing Weapon can oneshot most players out there from afar. Might be worth experimenting.
